All this fuss about HMG debt.

101% of GDP. About £2.7tr.
Japan 270% of GDP America also higher than ours.

Why do they make such a big fuss about £10bn here or there.
When you owe £2,700bn what difference does it make?

I suppose the man problem is spooking the bond markets.
Why buy UK debt at 4% when you can buy US debt yielding more?

If the bond markets like Labours plans maybe interest rates will come down quicker.
Largely depends upon the US Fed.
What a boost, lower interest rats would br to the UKeconomy.

Actually W5AMH its not how much it will cost to privatise the railways - its more where is the bleedin money coming from? I think we know the answer. I bet Comrade Lynch has cracked open a magnum. No need to strike from now on - just ask Comrade Kier. If I was Comrade Bailey I wouldnt open my bubbly just yet. The next interest rate movement may not be in the direction most people - especially on these boards- are relying on.
If anything deserves to be privatised I would say it was the water authorities. Scandalous how much has been doled out to investors whilst the infrastructure allowed to decay.

I see in todays Telegraph that our new Foreign Secretary is already talking to the Germans and has started to unwind the 8 year nightmare of Brexit.
There is hope. Better relations with our biggest trading partner is low hanging fruit.

Another interesting social experiment is the power given to Angela Rayner.
She has a CV from hell and no significant formal qualifications.

We have seen the likes of Cameron, Johnson with their 'trained to lead and rule' CV's, Eton Oxbridge show themselves to be bungling incompetents.

How we would love Rayner to succeed, it would make us re think this whole Eton and Oxbridge obsession. Maybe the University of life route is better after all. On the job training and an open mind is what we need.
Time will tell is she will be an effective minister, I hope she succeeds, she could hardly be worse than the previous lot who's pomposity had no bounds.

That is incorrect. They do not get paid for 2 years after they lose their seat. The loss of office payment is one-off redundancy payment which is equal to twice the amount of statutory redundancy entitlement. They have to have been an MP for a minimum of 2 years to qualify for this.

the warmongers like using names like "noble", or "international community", or "self defense force", when they make these names for themselves, they force people to repeat this whenever people talk about the warmongers, it's called self hypnosis or self brain washing, when you are force to repeat phrases or names, you are programming your subconscience mind to associate the meaning of the phrase, to these warmonger organizations. You are literally rewiring and programming your perceptions and thoughts whenever you read or see these phrases or names, when in fact, they are NOT what the name implies. It's a very subtle psychological warfare against the human race.

I have to grudgingly admit that since being elected PM Starmer hasnt said much that I particularly disagree with. The Rwanda scheme was never more than a gimmick - a sop to their departing supporters and an admission of their own impotence in the face of our invasion by illegals. In fact he has sounded quite business like and as though he has a thought through plan for the future. We will see but after the Tories even Fred Karno looked like he had a plan.

Whatever it costs it will be a fraction of that other monument to Tory incompetence HS2. Although that saga seems to have gone on that long it could have been started by Harold Wilson. Surprising even by HS2 standards I believe that people who had their houses compulsorily purchased for a section that now wont be built can re purchase them as they are back on the market - but at a fraction of the price. No wonder taxes have to be so high when we are run by madmen.

Dont know about anyone else but England bored me again. Every other game apart from them I have enjoyed.
