scruff, I think most of the degeneracy in both parties, especially tories, has always been there... the difference now is the internet..It has meant that when the bad thoughts/ bad ideas/ bad behaviour/ are discovered they go viral.. Politics as a result will never ever be the same........ they have all been found out and found lacking in a way that has never happened before.
If I was King any candidate winning where there was a low turnout would be immediately disqualified .... and they would all have to start again.

Looks like today is shaping up to be a day when Labour supporters are going to be running around beating their chests and screaming like a troop of excited chimps in the bush!

There seems to be a daily pattern here for traders, buy first thing and sell around 1pm.

If the stakeholders around share transactions wanted us to know whether a trade was a buy or sell then they'd simply mark the trade and publish. They don't want you to know so they don't.Afn seems to have an incredibly naive algorithm for calculating their buy or sell status they attach, but that is worse than useless (some actually believe afn marking as a buy is actually a buy).Even watching the price and knowing the result report rules doesn't help much. You can calculate the delay for larger trades, but even that is no use since application can be made to publish without the default delay. If you have read the se rules surrounding trade reporting you'll know how intentionally complex they are - all in order so we can't calculate whether any trade is actually a buy or sell. Furthermore, Trades are reported some time after completion, and they could be worked for weeks. Or large trades could be reported as a large number of small trades. Then delayed (or not)But why do you want to know anyhow? What do you do with the info?

Russia, Vietnam expanding cooperation in traditional, new spheres — Russian Ambassador.

Further to traditional spheres like electric power sector, oil and gas production, culture, science and education, Russia is also interested to cooperate in Vietnam in new areas of interaction, such as green energy, Gennady Bezdetko noted.

HANOI, May 2. /TASS/. Vietnam and Russia are proactively widening cooperation in traditional and new spheres of bilateral interaction, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko told reporters.

Restrictions and sanctions introduced by the West against Russia has "certain effects" on bilateral relations and pose certain problems to them, where the issue of bilateral payments in transactions being the most challenging, the Ambassador said. "The governments of the two countries are proactively overcoming difficulties and certain problems have already been solved. I am confident we will be able by join efforts to overcome all the existing difficulties and provide for progress in strengthening Vietnamese-Russian comprehensive strategic partnership," the diplomat said.

Further to traditional spheres like electric power sector, oil and gas production, culture, science and education, Russia is also interested to cooperate in Vietnam in new areas of interaction, such as green energy, the Ambassador added. "Large Russian corporations, including Zarubezhneft, are considering opportunities for implementing wind park projects in the territory of Vietnam in central and southern parts of the country, while Novatek, a leading liquefied natural gas producer in Russia - is interesting in cooperating with Vietnam in this area, which may bring a power of good to both countries, Bezdetko noted.

"We hope negotiations held at present with interested Vietnamese partners will lead to creation of new interaction projects," the Ambassador added.

Scruff.
Vote for me, 2029.
After 5 years of Liebour I suspect the country will sorely need some firm but fair leadership.

the lack of funding for the basics, cardinal, is just down to the colossal corrupt waste in every branch of the public service.
Truss was silly ...she was advised NOT to talk about taxcuts till she had got numbers for the expenditure cuts . Redwood told her to do it the right way and the silly moo thought she knew better.
Redwood was key in the Thatcher supply side economic policy of the eighties led by Patrick Minford which revolutionised economies here and in the US .Nothing is any different now except the money printing machine is now backed by new fallacious and specious economic theory.

This could all be sorted out very quickly with people with character and guts and intelligence
sadly our elite have none of these attributes
But the US is very different ... watch it change there very fast.

What a little Civil Service bonus can do? The wife applied on line for a new photocard driving licence to replace the old paper version, at midnight on Monday.
Flabbergasted to receive it first thing this morning! And there's more!
My son applied for a new Blue passport on line a fortnight ago even though he had a full year before expiry.........Lo and behold, it took but 7 days!
What's this world coming to eh!
