IN VIDEO: RUSSIAN FIGHTER WON BATTLE WITH UKRAINIAN UAV.

Support SouthFront

Both warring sides in Ukraine are massively using small drones to strike enemy positions. A wide range of means are used for protection, including electronic warfare systems, anti-drone guns and additional vehicle protection. The Russian military is also successfully fighting Ukrainian drones with their bare hands. LINK

New video from Ukrainian battlefield showed Russian servicemen destroying Ukrainian drone his duffel bag.

The brave Russian fighter is reportedly a soldier of the 3rd infantry battalion of the 91st separate infantry regiment. The incident took place near the village of Nikolskoe located south of Ugledar.

One of Russian servicemen was wounded in the fields near the village. The group of Russian fighters came to the area to evacuate the wounded comrade. During the operation, one of the servicemen was targeted by Ukrainian kamikaze FPV drone.

Showing courage, the fighter shot down the enemy UAV with his duffel bag, ensuring the successful evacuation of a comrade-in-arms. The fighter was slightly injured. The operation was successfully completed.

From Migration Watch:-

After much ado, the Rwanda Bill has made its way through Parliament, and Rishi Sunak, in his "enough is enough" mode, is promising to launch "multiple flights a month," whisking away illegal migrants within a brisk 10-12 weeks. We shall see but we have our doubts.

We said two years ago, and repeated since, that the Rwanda scheme could have contributed to discouraging migrants from paying criminals huge sums for the illegal and dangerous trip across the Channel. We said it would not be the silver bullet that solved the Channel crisis. The legislation had to be passed and implemented quickly and it had to be court-proof. Those arriving illegally had to be detained, dealt with quickly and removed. Leaving the Human Rights Act (which embeds the ECHR in UK law) in place and intact was always going prove to be a major stumbling block. It remains in place and as Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick warned when the safety of Rwanda Bill was proposed, it would be largely symbolic in nature with only a handful of flights taking off. We shall soon see how accurate their predictions were. The government is no doubt bracing itself for the legal battles ahead as the human rights brigade, including activist lawyers and open-border NGOs, go into action in the courts.

Unless it is made abundantly clear that making your way illegally to the UK will mean immediate rejection and removal to a safe country like Rwanda, the boats will continue to come (at the current rate, perhaps it will be another record number of arrivals.) Sadly, more too will die.

Remember how immigration barely got a nod in the 2019 election – because Boris Johnson told us illegal arrivals would be sent back and the points-based system would control and reduce legal migration? While Labour focused more on weaponising the Windrush debacle. Fast forward, and immigration is a top three issue again: number one for many.

Boris Johnson’s Tories pretended to talk, sort of, tough on immigration but ended up letting in many more people, especially low-skilled workers. Indeed, there is a case for arguing that this was all intentional. Their plans to stop small boats from crossing the Channel have flopped, and the whole Rwanda scheme has so far delivered precisely zero. They're now trying to talk big on immigration (again) and throwing out ideas they probably won't act on (like leaving the European Court of Human Rights. Labour are saying very little, and what they have said on the Channel is, frankly, meaningless. Their plans, if implemented will more likely encourage illegal crossings. Most frustrating for us, and a majority of people in the UK, is that neither party wants to tackle the much more significant issue of the current eye-popping scale of legal migration.

scruff......according to the news it seems they are heading the other way now after the news that Rwanda flights can now start. They all seem to be flocking across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland and then across the open border into Southern Ireland.

Last solicitor I dealt with asked me if I wanted to pay cash - otherwise I would have to pay vat. He was a criminal layer ! Two years later I received a letter from the practice saying they had no record of me having paid my account. Could I sign a note saying I had paid so that they could write it off as accounted for. Probably works for the ECHR now. Oh no - he was qualified.

You Only Had To Listen: Ron Paul Destroys Mike Johnson For Betraying America

BY TYLER DURDEN

THURSDAY, APR 25, 2024 - 10:44 AM

Former US Congressman Ron Paul has gone completely ham on Speaker Mike Johnson, first - writing in a recent Op-Ed that Johnson has "betrayed liberty and the Constitution" after reauthorizing FISA surveillance but casting the deciding vote that tanked an amendment to require a warrant.

Section 702 authorizes warrantless surveillance of foreign citizens. When the FISA Act was passed, surveillance state boosters promised that 702 warrantless surveillances would never be used against American citizens. However, intelligence agencies have used a loophole in 702, allowing them to subject to warrantless surveillance any American who communicated with a non-US citizen who was a 702 target.

...

Despite the fearmongering by Mike Pompeo and others, as well as the opposition of both President Biden and Speaker Johnson, the amendment failed to pass by only one vote. The amendment would have passed had Speaker Johnson not cast a rare floor vote (speakers usually do not vote on legislation) against the amendment. -Ron Paul

Paul went further this week - calling Johnson out for being a complete sellout and acting, once again, against the interests of Americans.

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is reported to have bragged to his colleagues about how easily Speaker Johnson gave Democrats everything they wanted and asked for nothing in return," Paul noted, adding that Johnson "reached across the aisle, stiffed the Republican majority that elected him speaker, and pushed through a massive gift to the warfare corporate welfare state." in passing a massive aid package for Ukraine and Israel.

"After the House voted to send another $60 billion to notoriously corrupt Ukraine, members waved Ukrainian flags on the House floor and chanted, ‘Ukraine! Ukraine!’ While I find it distasteful and disgusting, in some ways, it seemed fitting."

Tucker Carlson: "Here's the illusion we fall for time and again. We imagine that evil
comes like fully advertised as such, like evil people look like Anton Lavey...Evil is
an independent force that exists outside of people, that acts upon people...What
vessel do they choose? The weak. It's weak men and women who are instruments of evil.
The weaker the leader, the more evil that leader will be...Unfortunately we reached
the time in American history where every leader is either a woman or a weak man
pretty much...Mike Johnson...but he's a weak man and that's the man you should be
afraid of....Weak people just become a host for evil, an empty building that evil
occupies, possesses even. And that's exactly what's happening to Mike Johnson. That's absolutely crazy what Mike Johnson is doing, but not because he's evil, it's
because he's weak and therefore susceptible to evil..."
