First on the planet to do challenge studies to rapidly test drugs. World leader. Still one of the few places where we can infect people with the condition being researched to see how well potential vaccines work. Covid for example, and its derivatives..

While i really like France, they are very insular sometimes, having mountains, lakes, hot bits warm bits, wine, great food, etc. And i shared an office with one once, and he stank, as per the image.

UK were the 5th wheel on the carriage say the French. Absolutely right. Brexiters are now just continually desperate opportunists as described by the French.

Like a hamster on the wheel, the UK is running like mad and going nowhere fast.

I panic bought an ev last week. From the docks to the dealer took 2 days - lucky my lorry driver wasn't on strike. 25% below list price - is that some of the eu tariffs gone? Not really the signs of shortages. Haven't really noticed any supermarket shortages here too. Probably because they can charge a decent price here, and not much stuff nicked like you get in the liverpule outskirts where minny 'lives', or rather exists, alone apart from his boot polish.

"We are running out of everything, with no drivers to bring food."

You mean that you believe what the far left nonces tell you. Our local supermarket has plenty of everything. If plastic Xmas stuff cannot get here from China in time, that is no bad thing.

The truth is more straightforward: if the West wishes to protect its interests in the Indo-Pacific, then France and other European powers need to be on the same page as the US and its Anglophone allies. And right now both sides are not even reading the same book.

- James Landale

Absolutely right.
