You'll find the default change of Immigration rules for UK--EU also saw a general reset for all of Europe in many departments.

Share price usually drops on the Xd date in line with the divi amount. The actual payment date you often get a small increase due to some folk having set divi reinvestment plans other than that the cash outflow has no real impact as it is already accounted for..
