GG,

Focus on my throwaway comment based on your previous unsourced article and ignore what I actually said

How about the potential side effects of Ivermectin:

Coma
Seizures
Liver damage
Blistering/peeling skin
Serious eye problems (including blindness)
Shortness of breath
Inability to control urination/bowel movements
Trouble standing or walking
Confusion
Extreme tiredness/droiwsiness
Low blood pressure

Untested efficacy on Covid.

jordaggy,

A 91 year old dying from Covid, didn't have Covid for the first 90 years of their life, but will push the average age of death for a covid patient higher vs average life expectancy.

Because a 91 year old is far more likely to die than a 20 year old this also pushes up the average age of death.

All irrlevant for a 40 year old chosing if they should be vaccinated or not.

Instead you should look at your age group and the risks associated with being vaccinated vs the risks from getting covid and you should use sources like the British Medical journal or official numbers to make an informed choice.

You should also consider the societal impact that your being unvaccinated could pose.

"That's 0.000005% vs the risk of 0.4% from Covid (according to your numbers, which are questionable), do the math"

My numbers are spot on.

As most sourcea will show. The recovery rate for those aged 0 - 60 is 99.6%. This is a virus that disproportionately hits the ELDERLY(65+) but also the unhealthy, the immune compromised, those with high blood pressure/diabetes etc

That'd be why the Recovered figure is SO HIGH and the Mortalities SO LOW in anyone aged 60 and under who isn't immune compromised, or unhealthy.

Which is the clear majority of them. Their immune systems will sort it out for them. This isn't Ebola we are talking about or MERS, both of which have high mortality rates.

Last numbers earlier this morning
Closed Cases 152,053,312
Recovered 148,474,706 Recovered as % Closed Cases 97.8%
Deaths 3,478,606 Closed Case Fatality Rate. 2.22%

Open Cases 15,481,329
Mild 15,384,022 Mild as %% of open 99.3%
Critical 97,307 Critical as %% of Open 0.7%

Lets say ALL the Critical die, and ALL the Mild Recover

We get
Total Cases 167,534,641
Recovered 163,858,728 Recovered as %% 97.8% of total KNOWN Cases.
Deaths 3,575,913 Deaths as %% 2.13% of total KNOWN Cases.

Note the figures are based on total KNOWN CASE numbers.
Given the lack of testing, and many experiencing mild/no symptoms the probability of ACTUAL Total Cases being far higher than total KNOWN Cases is very very high.

Therefore BOTH the Actual Total Number of Cases and Actual Recovered rates will be even higher. Strip out the over 65+ and the Recovery rates become even higher as well!

On one of J Campbells videos it was estimated that up to 10x as many people might already have been exposed thereby slashing both IFR and CFR.....This makes it even less compelling for those outside of the Elderly or Immune Compromised/Unhealthy to get a vaccine that exposes them to unnecessary risk.

Taking a vaccine with the chance of getting CVT is putting all those with such a high Recovery Rate at unnecessary risk in my view.

Wondering why you cannot see the obvious.
