23/3/2021 18:23 | A few things I could disagree with there careful 1. Probably wrong tense. Disliked the EU yes. Hatred? Well its probably close to that now after there recent behaviour towards us. 2. Early effects of Brexit. Most again is down to the unwarranted behaviour of the EU. 3. Our economy most certainly is in trouble. Apart from China which economy isnt? 4. Trillions squandered? IMO quite a lot has been unnecessary and I am not in favour of lockdown. But a lot has been necessary. Would you not have supported the development of and purchase of large volume of the vaccines and the furlough would have been good if the pandemic had not lasted beyond all expectations. We are not the only country to have thrown large amounts of cash at this. The world has been and still is scared. 5. Every step of the way our neighbours have been bad neighbours and nourished a bad relationship. 6. Things have looked bad to Remainers ever since the result of the referendum. They must really look bad now because many people seem to now think that the EU is not the benevolent organisation they believed it was previously. I think the chances of rejoining have disappeared into the ether | ![]() scruff1
23/3/2021 17:22 | One of the worst aspects of this pandemic has been listening to Whitty. He does my head in He makes me feel depressed. Boris is getting infected by him - if we need to take further measures we wont hesitate - how come he never says if we can reduce measures we wont hesitate. He keeps banging on about how successful the vaccine is but there doesnt seem to be any benefit from it. The journos ask the most stupid questions to which he always replies 'thanks for that really important question. And if one of them asks one more time whether he should have locked down earlier my telly is going through the window. Next slide please aaaagggghhhh | ![]() scruff1
