I do 10 miles walk every day.. others do bicycle, others...Stop criticising every single word and start living by hating less. | k38
12/1/2021 11:15 | Ham sandwiches, fish & chips, just wait until white spirit imports get hit, eh? LOL! | minerve 2
12/1/2021 11:14 | Thanks grahamite, glad we agree on some things. :) | minerve 2
12/1/2021 11:11 | I don't know exactly what the five excuses for going out are as I take little notice of all this stuff. But I do know that "exercise" is totally out of place. How can that be equated with buying the food we need to live, or earning a living so we can pay for the food we need to live? And even if exercise were so damned important - which it isn't - you can perfectly well exercise at home. Minerve is dead right on this one. | grahamite2
12/1/2021 11:06 | Made by the BBC for the BBC. The sandwich story was made up by the BBC reporter with the remainer driver and ofcourse the person in charge at the time... Do not trust the hated BBC. | k38
12/1/2021 11:04 | lefrene not thick m2, in fact arguably the smartest on this bb cos he understands things like bonds, banking systems and the like which I find bewildering. Just cos you disagree. | cheshire pete
12/1/2021 10:57 | Hang on a second, this cannot be happening, look what our Prime Minister told us: "Boris Johnson has told Northern Ireland businesses they can put customs declarations forms “in the bin” because there will be “no barriers of any kind” to trade crossing the Irish Sea." -- Belfast Telegraph (and everywhere else) November 2019. - FT comment Another lie, eh Boris? LOL! | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:53 | cheshire pete, I just made the same decision, no products from Holland from now on. Or is it just the BBC up to their usual misinformation tricks? | lefrene
12/1/2021 10:52 | Aceuk Post 15032 "Is your real name Donald Trump?" Why would it be dimwit? Aceuk Post 15034 "Do you people ever question who lends this money to governments and who sets the coupon? It is not that difficult is it?" Go on, let everyone know then or do you not know | geckotheglorious
12/1/2021 10:52 | cheshire/stoned What happens to the ham sandwich going into the EU also happens going into the US. If you travelled often and further than your Flat Earthed county boundary you might understand these issues more rather than showing us what a narrow-minded, ignorant Little Englander that you obviously are. | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:49 | No more tulips from Amsterdam following latest EU crazy stunt when Dutch customs confiscated one of our truckers ham sandwich commenting 'welcome to brexit sir'. Another place in the world crossed off the list of potential holiday destinations. Buy British. Boycott EU and China. | cheshire pete
12/1/2021 10:46 | The issue isn't whether Boris broke the COVID rules, the issue is whether it sends the right message to a country he is supposed to be in control of. There is a huge difference between WHAT YOU CAN DO and WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:44 | "Don't get complacent" Boris says as he gets in his car to start cycling in a park over 7 miles away. Do as I say but not as I do. Don't they have room for an exercise bike in No 10? Surely much safer and you don't need an entourage of Boris COVID carriers protecting a park to make sure the prime chimp isn't lynched. | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:35 | Am I supposed to feel more free in this lockdown? | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:34 | When do we reach the sunny uplands? What day is that planned to be? | minerve 2
12/1/2021 10:33 | N Ireland shoppers face empty shelves as Brexit snags supply chains | minerve 2
