Just do the Norway Option then and be done with it. Anything else its nuts.

We now have a pro-democrat US president. The day after he had a cosy chat with Johnson, cummings walks. Norway option is the only option. Brexiteers can just go an * off - they have killed too many people and caused too much economic mayhem as it is.

netcurtains - I totally disagree too. Not about the US but binning Brexit for 2 years (if I read your post correctly). That imo would be madness. Weve already had 4 years of uncertainty and now with our economy highly dodgy and a future that is uncertain to delay Brexit any furher would be an act of utter madness.

Remainers timing perfect, wait till Boris on the ropes with Cummings and Cain going then stick the boot in to try and stop no deal.

Stick to your guns Boris, no surrender, no u-turns...we voted leave that means leave everything no half measures, goodbye, finnito.

eleanor justicePosted November 13, 2020 at 6:18 pm | PermalinkDear Mr Redwood, should the unthinkable happen and Brexit is sabotaged and it is looking very dodgy from where I am standing what can the millions of leavers do about it? If the PM decides to jump ship do we just shrug our shoulders and let it go .We need advice Mr Redwood our world has gone mad,

G2 - you forget that the UK's speciality is writing regulations. If you have ever worked across the Channel you would know that the UK has rules that are home grown. Instead of being burnt they were added to.
Health and safety - where would you like to start?

See Sir Roger Gale celebrating Cummings' departure and chance for a new path, all sounding very reasonable until you realise he's a remainer.

Said ages ago we need to be vigilant, the remainers won't give up trying to keep us in single market.

Naturally they want us tied up in red tape like themselves. The idea of having a super Singapore in their back yard terrifies them - and so it should!

A bonfire of regulations would be as good for continental Europe as it would for us. Not so good for the Eurocrats, though. They might actually have to work for a living.

cheshire - you really are a fool. Look forwards, not backwards; there has been plenty of time since Theresa May's time. You sound like a broken record. No Deal is the booby prize - wake up for once and move into the real world.

1carus 161: "I am not sure that all brexiteers want a no deal"

The problem is 1carus that the EU can't be trusted allied to the fact that we are saddled with May's WA. Whilst it would be nice to have a deal that respects our sovereignty and allows us to take back control completely the reality is that the two are mutually exclusive. Hence the call for no deal.
