We can have a deal without surrendering our govern power to Brussels but that's a anathema because.. to them we are still a colony till end of this year. so, no deal this year and new negotiations next year.

G - I know of two 40 year-olds who are still suffering from long-covid 8 months after the event; so maybe not such a "big nothing".

When I say that they're still suffering, I mean things like extreme tiredness; abnormal changes like waking up to a puffed-up face; lung damage, and breathlessness...

And they're not swinging the lead, one of them is running her own business.

mikemichael - India already has the second highest number of Covid cases worldwide, but a relatively low death rate.

Perhaps the relatively low death rate is to do with the relatively low average age? We all know COVID is a big nothing for younger people. In that case the Indians are 100% right to carry on without a care.

I want Brexit to happen and for us to keep all of the benefits of membership.

The only reason I voted remain is because were only partially in before.
We kept our own currency and central bank and other opt outs.

I have changed my mind right now, we could possibly do OK away from the big 3 trading blocks of China, America and the EU.

Still a risk, but things have changed, globalisation is a bit out of fashion.

Hope we can still dominate World finance and that we are still allowed to dominate the EU. financial systems.

We have to go for Brexit now, but no deal would still be too risky.

Confident that Boris Johnson will get this right, we have enough problems without adding more.

Ambrose Evans Pritchard in todays Telegraph.

French know that at peak times in the winter we rely on French electric energy.
UK are priority customers.

Brexit negotiations must be tough, if French cannot have priority to UK fishing grounds why should the French give us energy priority? they argue.

Who would be a Brexit negotiator?
No deal could mean chaos and blackouts.....perfect.

We cannot submit to that, but a deal could be done.
We have not got a stronger hand than the opposition.
