Government already said they won't make tax changes for at least circa 2 years to let the economy get back on track first

True enough. It is remarkable that both the US and the UK could only field such poor candidates at the time when the strongest were needed.

As I said 50:50.
In fact the majority would say more chance than not.

Brexit deal surely certain.
I believe there’s 10 vaccines that will bring forward data in the next few weeks.
Biden will take office and a package will be agreed.
Infection rates are coming down.

In the next 10 days we could also get:

1.No brexit deal

2.Biden doesn't take office till Jan.

3.Delay and problems with the Vaccines.

4.Tax rise proposals to pay for megga debt.

Can you imagine the price of Lloyds?

If dividend restrictions lifted and all the above then you’re looking at 54p imo.

If divi restrictions are lifted, then I think we'll surpass 42p

For all these reasons I can see 42p max for the next 3 months.. don't forget profit taking will slow down the upside.

Let me see if I can make it simple enough for you to understand, Minereve.

Boris v Corbyn = Boris even with all his faults
Boris v Jeremy Hunt = Boris even with all his faults

Boris was the only game in town. It's pointless to speculate on choices that did not exist in the real world.

I reckon there are 3 possible news breakouts coming shortly:

1) Brexit deal confirmed
2) Dividend blockade getting lifted by the BoE
3) Vaccine starts getting actually distributed

With each one there should be a boost. You need to be holding before the news breaks :-)

In the next 10days we could see.

A brexit deal.
Biden taking office and a 3 trillion package agreed.
More vaccines getting the green light.
A reduction in the U.K. infection rate.

Can you imagine what price Lloyds on the above. Strong possibility too 50:50?

May be higher if a deal is announced in the coming weeks. Then it becomes your view on the 2021 economy.
