Boris is a complete fraud, the brexit knuckle draggers have been peddling drivel to the masses poor idiots for years now, regardless of deal the U.K. will be worse off than it was in a trading block it spent 40 years helping to build, the currency will remain trashed and our UK productivity is appalling so there is no way anything is going to really improve. Basket case self harming UK actually votes to be poorer, dont give me any of the taking back control drivel that slimeball Farage is always spouting either. No brexit dividend I am afraid and probably not much of one from LLoyds going forward either. UK is toast, stick to investing in the S&P and use U.K. for shorting and trading. Ftse below where it was 20 years years ago. Just appalling. Time to bail out. Interesting most of the brexiters like Jim Ratcliff have done the rats/sinking ship, gone to Monaco and building his new LR in France not Wales now. Says it all.

I will stick with my JLR cars. No repairs yet this year!

Someone on here has to buy British, or as close as you can get.

Too right. I guess you have tried to sell a car, no?

My Mercedes was purchased using PCP for various reasons, one of them being that such a contract effectively caps the maximum level of depreciation you will suffer. Handy when the politically correct and virtue signallers are taking a good cause such as emmissions and climate change and using an ignorant wide brush to paint us all with: it is a 3 litre V6 diesel. It seems the PCP contract comes in handy too when the world is ending. LOL!

Boris is no coward. Whatever. Saying that is just stupid.Boris is a Hero. Chinese Virus could have had a sort of nuclear fall out. It hasnt and the risk is now far better understood. Risk is basically minimal for vast majority. Need to turn the rudder and adjust to the new understanding of this virus.Boris. Love him. Sometimes angry with him. But no coward. And masks should be voluntary. And get rid of vectors such as mice, rats , their fleas ticks faeces and invisble urine. Rats in wet markets and meat processors and food processors. Where Covid is. Should have registered by now.Love Nigel.Love Boris

m2, meanwhile in the real world unemployment is off the scale, furlough payments are being scaled back and likely to end in 8 weeks time. Everywhere one looks there are empty commercial premises, and have you tried selling an expensive car lately?

No prizes for Barnes being an Express writer. Who believes that stuff other than the avid readers on here who await every word?

"You and him have a lot in common."

Well that is just your opinion. We have evidence to prove Boris is one. Anyway, society can perhaps tolerate me being one, if what you say is true, because I'm not the current PM, he is.

We don't know how much of that demand is temporal considering the cessation of purchases for months, government monetary intervention and delayed effects on business and the economy. At this point in time it means nothing.

LifelogicPosted September 2, 2020 at 5:59 am | PermalinkStewart Jackson in the Telegraph today says:- The right man to reboot the Civil ServiceThe Simon Case I know has all the qualities he will need to reform our clunking state bureaucracy.Well looking at Simon Case's CV if does not inspire much confidence:-Private School, History at Cambridge then a PHD in History (under Peter Hennessy) then entirely state sector employment. Let us hope he is more like JR than someone similar to (for example) Lord Debden (Gummer).

Campaigners representing families whose loved ones have died from coronavirus have accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson of being "heartless" in declining to meet them.

Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice said it wrote to Mr Johnson five times to request a meeting.

Asked by reporters about the letters, the PM said he would "of course" meet anyone bereaved by Covid-19.

But days later he wrote to the group to say he was "unable" to meet them.
