The masks available serve no purpose - just a comfort vehicle for the vulnerable who should stay in and not stray.
Why are the vulnerable the reason for the destruction of our economy - why did the media swallow this?

Last thing I remember about Trump and Kim is that they fell-out during a meeting and one of them exited early. Kim isn't that well so I guess he isn't going to pick arguments with anyone when his life expectancy has suddenly deteriorated. South Korea/ North Korea relations have deteriorated and that is the bellwether for progress with North Korea.

So all this about Trump being a "class act" coming from cheshire is laughable.

Trump is just as good a class act as you cheshire......in your own underpants. :)

Precisely CP Trumps a leader... you dont become a leader by being promoted from within & selected cos your black. Leaders make their own luck cos they're gogetters & charismatic enough to bring people with them. That's the definition of a leader.

Obama out of his depth. Admitted as much when he handed over to Trump saying along lines the biggest problem he hadn't been able to address was North Korea. Trump said he'd sit down and have a burger with Kim. Rockets aren't being fired from NK anymore. Trump made it look easy, like all class acts.

league of nations was formed to try to protect and maintain peace.
The successor is the UN - an org that seeks to interfere in everything.
A Brazilian (UN rep)condemned UKs arrangements for housing whilst many of her compatriots live in mud slide shacks - Now interfering in gypsy boats said to be Banksy.
We really do do need to get out of this ultra quangos arrangement. Same WHO.
Those that were paid to - were not up to the job.
I guess that the answer is that whilst in the EU - nobody here could be responsible.
Culling time then tens of thousands - who did nout - work now? from home

jl5006: "some good news and they will pay dearly"....absolutely, but have been waiting a long long time for LLOY to come up with good news. Has been a very poor investment but <2% of holdings. Much better returns elsewhere.

Seeing as a helluva lot of Americans wouldn't know what or where Taiwan is, this might be of little significance, nevertheless..

"It is fair to conclude that Trump’s stance on China and Taiwan is reasonably clear. But this cannot be said of his rival, Joe Biden.

Biden was vice-president during the Obama administration, which consistently overlooked the CCP’s human rights record in pursuit of economic benefits. On Obama’s watch, U.S.-Taiwan relations were distant and military sales rare.

The question is whether Biden’s stance has changed, given increased global awareness of the CCP’s human rights record, the global pandemic it unleashed on the world, and its unashamed hostility toward the democratic nations."

My money's on Biden being another Obama: a can kicker. To ignore the Chinese threat from its sea-grab, not to mention land-grab (HK), and its strangle-hold on far too much production of vital goods, would be irresponsible, and Biden needs to show he understands the threat.

Yes hence the info in the public domain with publicity to support their stance...then who is to know how quickly they close their positions...

Why would Marshall Wace take a short position of 0.51% when you have disclose the position at 0.5% and above?
