THE EU will block any free-trade agreement with Britain unless Boris Johnson agrees to guarantee access for European boats to the country's fishing grounds, Germany today warned.

Corbyn was an odd choice of Labour leader, you might of thought that after the fiasco of Michael Foot who was a good man but not PM material. So nearly 40 years on who would have thought Labour wouldn't have gone for a man who was as far left as Corbyn.

Redcar historically part of North Yorkshire.

You can take the man out of Yorkshire but you CANNOT take the Yorkshire out of the man.👍

I cant ever bring myself to vote tory....just rich inherited wealth over privileged and with no life experience what do we expect? If corbyn hadnt been foisted upon us who knows what might have happened. Shame on labour for not realising or doing nothing.

The European Arrest Warrant has always been an abomination and a thing we should have nothing to do with.

John redwood was given his chance as Welsh minister way back.
There is a big difference between talking and giving opinions and actually doing a job.
He is an historian, out of his depth doing an actual job involving people.
An essay writer after doing research, nothing more.

Jacob Rees Mogg had a following but now we see why he had never been promoted. He is incapable of doing a job properly.

Boris has also been found to be out of his depth, I suspect he is losing his confidence.

Hoping this Tory shower improve a little.
They have been a failure, totally incapable.

A crisis by the winter will create chaos for Boris and his bluster.
..I voted for him, no real choice.

xxxxxxxxx Jock News xxxxxxxxxx

Nicola Sturgeon is to put a "national mission to create jobs" at the heart of her plans for the year ahead in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Ms Sturgeon is reportedly keen on dropping all public sector employees hours from 39 to 24hrs p/wk BUT keeping their salaries unaltered. The accumulated or Banked hours could then be used to employ more public sector staff in roles such as face mask monitors and traditional music buskers in preparation for what used to be the UK culture festival which will now be known as Jockfest.

"Seeing as a helluva lot of Americans wouldn't know what or where Taiwan is, this might be of little significance, nevertheless."

Nor would most Brits. Nor most Europeans. Nor most people of the world outside Asia I expect.

Good post. This tiresome myth of the moronic American is largely that, a myth.
