I like to give people the benefit of doubt, but all the news feeds about China are looking a little suspicious, anyone else adding all these up.

Tygarreg, your complete misunderstanding of what freddie and I wrote is almost impressive.

Freddie wasn't arguing for or against them - he was making a point of logic. Either they are a good thing or they're not. If they are a good thing they should be made compulsory forthwith, not at some point in the future.

You got me even more wrong. I was arguing against them, for Pete's sake!

Perhaps you should think twice before calling other people clowns.

M2 you'll have to get one elasticated knee support stockings that fat birds wear on planes to stop themselves from exploding. If you roll it over your tabs itll stop that immense intellect of yours disappearing into the ether.

I was shopping at M&S yesterday. No one was limiting numbers in the food area. We had Christmas level queues into the checkouts. The queues stretched back into the isles making social distancing impossible. About 30% were wearing masks.

We need to control the chimps better.

Masks are obligatory in Switzerland for most stores and centres. What is interesting is the difference between masks that look the same. Different materials which makes breathing much easier and not so scratchy; wearing them not an issue. Worth choosing carefully.

freddie, that could apply to most of the measures they've introduced, couldn't it? Time after time it's been x will happen in two weeks, y will happen in 10 days - why not "with immediate effect..."?

Clearly they're not just floundering, they have no idea at all.

Couldn't agree more grahamite2.

"More Than Half Of COVID-19 Patients In New Study Have Heart Damage"

If only most advanced nations hadn't been gorging on fast food for three decades as physical fitness took a backseat, leading to epidemic levels of heart disease.

"Anyone would think it had been deliberately manufactured to be so....after all most Asians(Chinese, Japanese,Korean, Thai) are thin as..."

"Why announce a face mask policy without the supplies being to hand.
Have you seen any in the shops?"

If you'd had any brains and thought ahead, or watched Dr John Campbell/Dr Chris Martensen, you'd already have your "masks" sorted months ago.

And I do mean months ago when they were plentiful.

In fact I'd wager if we did a trawl of this BB back in Dec/Jan there were people who gave warning of this virus and that the best policy was to grab a mask....

Wonder how many people listened versus how many laughed and ridiculed whomsoever was posting about masks(and are now whining they cannot get any!!!!!)
