He accused the prime minister of "flailing around trying to blame others" for what had been a completely avoidable "mess".

Oh yes, most certainly avoidable if you were competent. Unfortunately the gammons voted in the clowns and we got a circus!

It wasn’t an expansion of higher education by the socialists it was a completely unnecessary total destruction of our industry by the Thatcherites and crony capitalists. Colleges and polytechnics that delivered vocational training to the masses suddenly found themselves with no industry to put the kids into. No industry, no apprenticeships, no vocational training, just abstract mickey mouse degrees because there is no point teaching people to use CNC machines if Thatcher was happy to see our industry die. The engineering lecturers retired and those that were left left the country.

Look at Germany and weep. They managed to keep their industries. The Germans would swat you Little Englanders to the ground like little flies if we were to have another WW2.

UK-Japan trade talks are just the startJune 10, 2020By Jonathan SaxtyTHE UK IS BEGINNING trade negotiations with Japan, complementing its ongoing negotiation with the United States. In the aftermath of Covid-19 – and with potentially huge deals to be done with the CANZUK countries as well – post-Brexit talks with the world's first and third largest economies will be key to rejuvenating Britain's economy.hTtps://www.brexit-watch.org/ukjapan-trade-talks-are-just-the-start

Cat amongst the pigeons:

"TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A joint British-Norwegian study alleges that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is a "chimera" constructed in a Chinese lab.

A study, authored by University of London Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian virologist Birger Sorensen and published in Cambridge University's QRB Discovery, claims that Sars-CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19, did not evolve naturally but rather was artificially manipulated. Specifically, the authors allege that the spike proteins of the virus contain "inserted sections."

The study's authors also pointed out that the virus has hardly mutated since it began to infect humans, apparently suggesting that it was already fully adapted to human biology in the laboratory. Sorensen told Norway's NRK on Monday (June 8) that this is "quite unusual for viruses that cross species barriers."

He added that the virus has properties that differ greatly from SARS and "which have never been detected in nature." After carefully examining the genetic sequence of the virus, he said that it did not appear to have evolved from natural processes."

millions of students on benefits or in bum jobs who then become completely disillusioned about their future

Minerve is right there, but again it has nothing at all to do with Brexit. It is the result of the massive and wholly unwarranted expansion of tertiary education by the socialists. I actually think this downright wicked and worthy of an AIM fraudster, encouraging young people to go massively into debt for nothing.

And it has nothing to do with brexit.

Talk about clutching at straws.

Naturally they have no knowledge, being young, but university used to try and change that. Now, between trigger warnings, deplatforming and the rest of it, they are actively prevented from coming into contact with new ideas. The whole concept of education has been abandoned.
