miniman is so brave hiding behind his computer screen. I would love to meet him in person....I would have him hung drawn and quartered and thrown overboard before he could open his big ugly mouth to complain.

Will no one rid us of this trumped up buffoon?

I think Mogg, Cummings, Boris and their current families should be hounded to death, quite frankly.

You were born at the wrong time and in the wrong country. You'd have fitted right in in 30s Germany.

Bailey is a closet marxist. He will do as he likes. When the medicos come up with another ridiculous and badly managed scare he will stop divis immediately , and if the medicos dont get their way this summer..that is what will happen.

This always was political.."Get rid of Boris" nothing else..and Cumings is Boris' brain.

Unless something catastrophic happens to the UK economy..I don't think they will be able to stop the dividends as Lloyds is a private business.

The BBC has now been joined by most of the newspapers as the official opposition to the tory gov.

The Cumming "scandal " by the BBC standars is not over yet.People are sick the way BBC report the news and mostly twisting the news and going against Boris Johnson policies.A disgrace BBC don't care even if Boris has 65% support from the people of this country.

diku 140 My daughter used to make face masks in the uk. The full see-through face surrounding masks, so not quite the ones you're discussing, but similar. Bits laser cut and 3d printed and assembled. To the government approved design at the time - made about 40, (having raised a grand for materials from a funding site) and gave them away to appreciative local drs. surgeries and care homes. They were told to stop making them a couple of weeks ago because the gov have brought in new safety regs, which cost several thousand quid for approval! Advised she's open to being sued if she makes any more. She still is making scrubs though, and giving them away.

mad as hatters the mask wearers...it only protects those NOT wearing the mask.....and knowing how hygienic the Brits are...will actually and highly probably...like the stupid virus transmitting gloves...make things worse.

There's nowt so daft as the f---ing British

Bu then they are incapable of independent thought beyond that of a 4 year old.Anything on a higher level they get from the meeja

Poikka

Have you been to a supermarket lately?

They are doing the social distance thing leading up to the entrance door, once inside it's a free for all.

That includes the staff.

False sense of security leading to greater exposure and greater risk of infection, apart from looking daft.

Plus side: it might reduce chance of infection compared to no mask - assuming no-one taking greater risk.

Indeed. Things are not that bad as we think and nothing can stop Lloyds pay part of it cash as dividends in the end of this year.

Those masks should be made in the UK under the British Standard kitemark...can the Govt not arrange to have it made in the UK textile factory and sold by UK major retailers...
