03/3/2020 17:44 | M2 your opinion on Boris is tainted because your a bitter lemon. What is important is the opinion of his peers & the electorate who recognise that Boris has knuckled down performs well & is much nicer to people at every level than other politicians of his seniority. The EU can offer noone to match his popularity. With the exception of a few lemons & silly Jocks Boris has got the support or a nation. He is genuinely considerate. | utrickytrees
03/3/2020 17:22 | Boris’s marital track record is of his own making and had he not made mistakes in the past, and have held greater personal values, these difficult decisions would not have arisen. Personally, I believe someone who is cold, lacks loyalty and the right values soon finds himself lacking and wanting when in a position of authority. What goes around comes around. Plenty of people on this thread seem to know a hell of a lot about leadership when they have never held a position as such in their lives. Fools. | minerve 2
03/3/2020 17:07 | Boris's marital track record only underlines the traits and credentials required to be a successful Prime Minister because you need an element of coldness & toughness to make decisions without becoming upset. That's why the country has turned it's back on the hysterical outraged remainers and overwhelmingly supported good old fashioned tory gammon policies. A welcome change from the lemon sucking snowflake spineless policies of the centre left. Up the Gammons down the lemons. | utrickytrees
03/3/2020 17:06 | Rate cut coming UK, not good for bank margins. But this is a big worry. | montyhedge
03/3/2020 17:05 | Just got back home. Not seen on TV yet that FED have dropped rates. Has it happened or is it what some think will happen? | chavitravi2
03/3/2020 16:54 | The Brain Dead has turned up, nhs will be back under it's stone when the inevitable turn around occurs. | gbh2
03/3/2020 16:54 | So we may get share price below 45 here Dividend cut also? | gswredland
03/3/2020 16:50 | Looking at LIBOR a UK rate cut has to be on the way too. Bearish for Lloyds. (Details on my thread if anyone interested). | alphorn
03/3/2020 16:45 | Jacko07 "My IQ is 164" Ha ha. Now is your 'applied' IQ just as high because "75p by Christmas" just doesn't quite reconcile. LOL | minerve 2
03/3/2020 16:42 | Well, I've sold some of my positions today. All three of them were at a loss. Haven't touched my positions showing gains. I think there is more to come for my UK domestics - but not yet. We have the virus to contend with. If world growth stalls we will no doubt have a glut of energy for sale and some world facing stocks hopefully going cheap. My Rotork investment has shown some good signs today - at the results. I have a few others on my watchlist and don't want to miss the opportunity of these through holding mediocre shares. | minerve 2
03/3/2020 16:37 | My IQ is 164, I got into Mensa years ago, no longer in it as their standards dropped, like most things. Minnie, I'd guess you are 120, highly emotional people are usually low on IQ. | jacko07
03/3/2020 16:36 | The value of Lloyds as a long term investment (11 years) is down 23% including dividends, without doubt my worst mistake was thinking this would be a good bet! Luckily the whole loss is wiped out by my TW holding, guess that's the value of diversification. | gbh2
03/3/2020 16:33 | Anyone, such as the Orange Muppet calling this a hoax, should hang their heads in shame. | jacko07
03/3/2020 16:33 | Going to get messy folks. | oakville
03/3/2020 16:32 | Brexit, Virus, UK government... Oh my Brexit, Virus, UK government... Oh my I've got a feeling we are not in a bull market anymore. Follow the gammon brick road! Follow the gammon brick road! | minerve 2
03/3/2020 16:29 | Certainly going to be great for debt holders...but going to be problems when rates make their inevitable way back up! | optomistic
03/3/2020 16:23 | FED fund rates to hit zero according to pundit. Banks shares will be hard hit as very difficult to make money in low int environments. | action
03/3/2020 16:22 | Always some reason for us not to hold the morning gain! | optomistic
03/3/2020 16:22 | Just left holding a basket case! | gbh2
