Minerve 2- I was unfortunate enough to catch swine flu which lead to pneumonia a month after I had moved house ,taken on a bigger mortgage & lost half my customers to the financial crisis & although I was off work for 6 months I survived & so has my business, Corona virus is a blip just like swine flu, The world will recover & the pannick will be over & the shares will recover, I invest for the long term & look for opportunities like this to buy cheap shares, Whichever way you look at Brexit the country voted to leave & whether you are a fan of Boris or not the markets like conservative & evidently so do the voters, by the way do you stand on street corners preaching ?

"Minerve 2 Im intellectual enough to now that my 10k investment here today is going to make me a nice profit by the end of the year"

Well, we will see about that won't we. Stick around! ;)

Of course, you now have another excuse for your life failures - Corona Virus.

I wanted to leave because it isn't democratic and unelected officials had their own agender which indeed was pride in the nation that they originated from

You get what you pay for

Boris Johnson’s campaign manager was the former Tory MP James Wharton. Wharton is an employee of the lobbying giant Hume Brophy, a firm which has talked up its ability to shape Brexit on behalf of big business, and whose clients have included the hedge fund industry, sugar giant Tate and Lyle, and Meat and Livestock Australia: all industries that have much to gain from the deregulation that Brexit will permit.

We asked both Wharton and Hume Brophy to comment on these points, but neither has responded.

C|T Group is the company which ran Johnson’s campaign. Most famously associated with its co-founder, the Australian public relations guru Lynton Crosby, the firm was until recently working for coal mining giant Glencore to undermine renewable energy and environmental activists.

Days after the Brexit vote, C|T Group set up an office in Washington DC – with a website bragging about its access to British politicians and ability to shape Brexit for US corporations.

Project STUPIDITY is actually definitely happening this side of la manche. We all know why people voted to leave - 10 plus years of austerity, a daily assault on the EU by dubious newspapers, a dislike of foreigners blended with a nostalgia for the perceived greatness of this country in the past, and a sense of entitlement for the future that disregards the present. Oh and to shaft all the younger generations who overall don’t give a toss about your nationalist sovereignty.

Well, success has not had any positive impact on your wisdom it seems.

It just goes to show that success and intellect don't always go hand-in-hand.

Well, too bad. It will not change my risk level seeing as my alcohol dependence is all in that little confused brain of yours.

#567. You have become indoctrinated by the other thread. I suggest that you stay there.

In so far as Lloyds is concerned there is plenty of steam to come out of the market. Probably wait until closer to Budget day and take a punt?
