Re pricing. If today's share price is considered ok (to you) then write a put option at the same strike price; either you will just keep the premium or if the shares are assigned you will have paid less than today's share price

If you feel racy like jordaggy then write both put and call options within a range and keep all the premia.

Think I’d rather have inflation than deflation, you never dig yourself out, at least if prices are rising you can use rates, but now they are ineffective, just keep printing more money! No good!

Liam Halligan is hopeless. He repeatedly said the biggest risk to the UK was inflation from about 2008-2015. Just google “Liam halligan inflation”. Couldn’t have been more wrong.

m2 - You are correct. Still have fond memories of old Lloyds. Steady dividends now again but not much action.

mitchy : Stick to the strategy. Keep sufficient of your 'powder dry' that way you can lower your average if necessary. Bank SPs move . Sold half of my BARC holding for a 5p gain early yesterday. Will retain the rest for the dividend. Have also opened a position in RBS ...9p dividend due there.

Ekuuleus: (ref your post 267) ...My previous post , and the foregoing is not meant to be 'a ramp'.I question the sanity of any investor who thinks they can move an share price by a BB post. My post is purely informative and intended for mitchy ...although I accept others have the opportunity to read it.
