19/2/2020 13:58 | Well said Jacko...two different entities involved here; the political EU and the economic EU. | jordaggy
19/2/2020 13:53 | The EU are very worried, that is the reason for the threats of hardball, Boris should say, if that's the way you feel, explain it to Mr Merc, BMW, Audi, the French wine exporters already feeling the backlash from the US, and all the other EU exporters whose jobs rely on UK buyers. I have long said, the real EU power will rise up against the blinkered Bureaucrats. Germany, France and Italy have major troubles, if the EU try playing hardball with economies already heading into recession, it will only add to their woes. Our modern day appeasers such as Minerve are like the jilted bride, so in love she sees her life ending. Brexiters see a bright future outside a long loveless marriage that has been on the rocks for years. Although the German recession seems to have escaped our media, do they ever report that Mrs Merkel is at her lowest popularity since she gained power. The people of the EU are not living in harmony as they tell us. The BBC, CH4, SKY have been extremely lax in bringing reports from the EU. They don't report the facts where the EU is slowing down at a rate not seen since the 2008 crash. Merkel is toast, Macron the same, never been so unpopular, yet we see nothing on our main media promoting the UK. This morning, they are obsessed with Boris and Dominic Cummings, you need to go to Euronews, RT, Al Jazeera to get news from Europe. This morning on Euronews, they were reporting major news on the new EU Tech laws which are coming into force, while the BBC and SKY were leading with hard hearted Boris putting a halt to unskilled immigrants and the slave wages they are paid by fat cats. They should be putting the flags out, new immigration points system stops greedy companies exploiting unskilled Europeans. And what about Deutsche Bank, they are up to their necks in money laundering. It is big news in the USA, as they investigate Trump & Kushner's deals with Deutsche Bank who lent them money using Russian Oligarchs as backers. It all stinks, yet our media are more concerned about a points based immigration system. You couldn't make this stuff up. | jacko07
19/2/2020 13:42 | Low skill workers and Laura Kenny, 4 times Olympic gold medallist _ repeatedly_ become the main BBC news yesterday and today for breaking a bone (big deal) with the "star" of love island Other news are less important. What a waste for taxpayers money ! | k38
19/2/2020 13:22 | Great - so we both agree that 0.1% is not significant. So we can both agree that by using this insignificant, pedantic stat to back up his argument that Halligans article is somewhat useless. mr.elbee19 Feb '20 - 12:22 - 6344 of 6347 0 1 0 you are a silly pedant Dr...error factors and such like do not resolve to 0.1% anywhere ..not even in global warming or inflation. mr.elbee18 Feb '20 - 18:54 - 6319 of 6348 0 2 0 Not much balanced judgement Dr. READ THE ARTICLE[too much of a strain?] Discuss his arguments ,one by one ,and then..that is the civilised way.. | dr biotech

The remainers have ,and still do,ignored all the trade gains for the economy..all the GDP gains from the blockbuster budget just ahead..the IMF's track record... The future is the future..no one knows but the present is?? Europe is finished.. Tory government set to win again. | mr.elbee |
