Promises galore from all parties claiming they know which way the world will turn, both in and out of the EU..........It's what you make of that counts!

I trust none of the 'they didn't know what they were voting for' brigade will be voting today.

As sure as dimwits is dimwits, no one knows in any detail what any party leader will or won't do when elected.

The vote wasn't to leave the EU and do something. The vote was to leave the EU. Full stop. Are you a village idiot rolling on the floor laughing just because you don't seem to understand what the vote was?

cheshire - do you always set out on a journey without knowing your destination?

Do you have a random destination point generator in your satnav? ;))

I shall be interested to read what m5 has to say.

""I voted to leave Europe".

That remains the key point. How and what do you expect in the future?"

The vote was not conditional on people having thought through what to expect 'in the future'. It was remain or leave, in that order and the majority who turned out voted to leave.

My biggest fear is probably the same as yours, that the Brexit party will split the vote and constituents in majority who dont want labour will get them by default.
I do wish that they and the conservatives had worked something out to avoid this.

Obviously premature, but I wonder how/if Boris's cabinet will change if he gets a whacking majority - IF.
