HopePosted August 14, 2019 at 8:25 am | PermalinkThe UK pays our taxes to the sum of £15.1 billion overseas aid, £3.7 billion European Development Fund- its overseas aid equivalent- each year would go a long way to pay for elderly care each year. £19 billion borrowed to give away while being told there is no money for the prudent, savers to help them while wasters provided a house all their lives and elderly care. Plenty of well paid in a council houses!Your govt has lied to us previously on three occasions to get elected, what is different now?

As someone who cashed out a tad early in June at around 7450 on my entire portfolio I am still trying to work out what the late July bump was all about. Talk about confidence in the face of a dire backdrop. If anything things are slightly more rosey today as the chances of a Corbyn/ McStalin led Government has somewhat receded on a Tory bounce in the polls.

Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the US House of Representatives, has warned that any trade deal with the UK had “no chance” of being approved by Congress if it jeopardised the Good Friday Agreement that brought peace between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Good old Nancy! You can depend on Nancy. She is too much for Trumpty Dumpty.

Keep on thinking that if you like.

It is a perfect storm of Trump and No Deal Brexit. Leave voters can keep on pretending they don't have blood on their hands but they are guilty.

Normally chimps are not capable of being culpable, but Brexit is an exception! ROFLMAO!

In the good old days countries deleveraged in the good times. Since 2007 countries have all added significant debt and hit record debt/gdp levels. Levels that historically have always led to debt default

Oh Yes, I forgot about them Dope. You're bang on about the Banks and the rest of us being screwed, just short termism as always, boot the can further and further down the road until you can't boot it any further.

Then of course you realise that you can't lower interest rates because in order to create a deception and give the impression that all was well you never returned them to normal levels and of course now you're REALLY screwed.

Or should that be us..........

What if protesters in the UK rioted and closed Heathrow for days, smashing windows and causing damage.
Imagine climate change protesters, it could happen.

How would you expect our authorities to act?

In fairness I think the protesters in HK are now pushing their luck.

What I found hilarious though was our politicians condemning the behaviour of the HK Police for using batons etc, yet were more than happy for the Spanish to "restore order" when it was the Catalan referendum.

Double standards ??

No, Surely not..................
