One interesting point here for you, there have been calls for the EU to release

detailed impact documents outlining the effects of a no-deal scenario with the UK,

the EU has refused every time, WHY?

Look at the recent no-deal plans the EU released, allowing clearing houses in

London to continue to service customers in the EU, granted this is supposedly

temporary but I doubt it.

Same with the visa waiver for UK citizens, several countries in the EU would go

into recession from loss of tourism from the UK alone, in fact Portugal and Spain

are already feeling the effects and we haven't left yet.

The German economy is slowing, reasons cited, trade war between US and China and

Brexit uncertainty, again, we haven't left yet and there hasn't been an increase

in tariffs.

France has problems already, add loss of 40-50% of their fishing industry and

potentially 30-40% of their produce exports to the UK and guess where that leaves

them?

In the mean time, UK has the highest employment figures for 40 odd years, wages

are rising in real terms, house prices are NOT falling and the UK's GDP figures

are constantly being revised upwards, unlike Europe where theirs are being revised

down.

It appears that the RoI are not going to make a hard border. And the UK are are not going to make a hard border, then there will be NO hard border. So no need for Backstop.

Backstop just the cudgel of the Mafia and Gestapo inspired EUSSR.

Leave the EU young man. Leave.

And if you think Remaining is best, ask yourself why people are dying to come to the UK.

Leave the EU, young man.

Correction – when will Parliament vote on the Withdrawal Agreement?
By JOHNREDWOOD | Published: DECEMBER 22, 2018
This blog contains substantial fact based analysis of the current economic and political situation worldwide. I use published official sources and wish to be accurate. It also provides my views and forecasts, which are distinguished from the factual analysis. I often compare what governing institutions say they are planning to do with their outturns as captured by official figures and reports.

In a recent blog I said that the government has delayed the vote on the Withdrawal Agreement until January 14th. I had not read this in an official source, but relied on press and media reports which I assumed were based on official briefings. I need to correct my piece, as there is still no official statement of when the Withdrawal Agreement will be voted on. All we know is the Parliamentary debate on it starts again on Wednesday 8th January and continues on the following two days. I will keep you posted as to when the debate will conclude and when there might be votes.

Banning the use of drones near airports wouldn't have made the slightest difference in this particular case - the controllers don't respect the law.

Drones must not be available to members of the public - use restricted for specific commercial and military only. They're already causing trouble being flown over properties, never mind delivering drugs to prisons. The mind boggles as to some of their potential criminal uses.

As for Minerve and his ridiculous "ROFLMAO"....enough said.

Good ol' Rudd. I don't agree with her on Brexit, but I do agree with her on this. Juncker would have been out on his ear by now if the EU had been a company.

"The Daily Telegraph leads on an attack by the Work and Pensions Secretary, Amber Rudd, on the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker - describing him as "ghastly" and condemning what she calls his "grotesque" behaviour towards Theresa May at the recent EU summit.

In an interview for the paper, she says his conduct should have been the subject of an official complaint.

She says that when she used to go to the EU for meetings, she would try to avoid getting enveloped in a bear hug by suggesting she had a cold.

"All the EU commissioners love doing their big hugs," Ms Rudd adds."

Yes Corbyn shows most of the qualities of a leaver . The perfect example , I bet he writes the hated May at least 100 times a day on his computer .It is yet to be confirmed if he reads The express.

Re: drones.....bad things happen when you upset the establishment by doing stupid things like voting Brexit. Financial crash, drones disruption, drugs supply crisis jobs crisis, motorways lorry parks etc. ......yawn yawn what next. Expect more of this rubbish right through to end of March. Spoke with someone in the know earlier, the means of taking out drones has been available for a long time and could have been used so why didn't it happen at Gatwick? Why has it happened in the UK first? How will every other airport worldwide deal with it? Turning a negative into a positive, could it be that we the are the world leaders in the technology to fight this threat? Conspiracy theory or just an unfortunate coincidence?

I have a little story to tell, all remainers can go to HELL!!!!!!

ooooh Jeremy Corbyn oooooooh!!!!!

Corbyn IS a Brexiteer! Kate Hoey CONFIRMS Labour leader ALWAYS pushing for Leave

WHILST many have speculated as to Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s Brexit

allegiances, as many of his comments appear to have conflicted with others in the

party, Labour MP Kate Hoey has finally confirmed that he is, indeed, pushing for

Britain to leave the EU.

The comments were made on ITV this morning outside Parliament. The MP for Vauxhall

explained: “I’ve got a lot of confidence in our leadership because I think

Jeremy’s instincts are very clearly to get us out.” Mr Corbyn’s politics on Europe

have been very ambiguous of late.

@Brexit for Beginners

Were doing so badly our economy grew faster in 2018 than France, Germany and Italy and fractionally less (0.1%) than the Eurozone average and that DESPITE Brexit uncertainty.

Try to be more informed and less opinionated.
