Yes, you've made your view very clear before, maxk!

A couple of thoughts.

Surely this type of article/thinking will only increase the likelihood of Parliament voting her deal down. Is that the Maybot at work?

If the market would like to bottom the LLOY share price above 47.10, in the next week or two, this type of possibility holds out the necessary hope, does it not?

the responsibility for not dealing with the drone?

the Police
The airport security.
the two ministers.

You will always get nutters taking a chance on our, broadly speaking ,non effective legal system..we expect that..But the officials could and should have done much better.

What a dump we live in.

The Maybot is doing what she was chosen for, and programmed to do.

Duplicitous and without care for her political future, or that of the tory party.

edit: the serfs don't count at all.

Bloomberg has an article this evening. Here's the title and a short excerpt, which gives a sense:

Theresa May Is Hatching a Secret Brexit Plan B to Avoid Armageddon.

.............In public, May and all her ministers are adamant that her exit deal is the only one available to avoid potential economic and social chaos. They are putting all their efforts into winning the vote in Parliament.

Behind closed doors, her inner circle is discussing the options if she fails.

Increasingly, the idea of sending the question back to the British public to answer is gaining ground, according to a senior government official.

That could be through a new referendum -- an idea winning support in mainstream U.K. politics but which May herself adamantly rejects -- or even a national election to choose a new government.

The first step in either case would be to delay Brexit, extending the Article 50 process while all sides regroup. When she’s been asked about this recently, May has been less forthright than in the past.

The uk is an odd market.
Many domestic shares, probably most are about 40% from their peaks.
the list is long, but the miners and oils are still well above their lows of the recent past.

Lloyds is quite cheap already.
A contrarian would put money to work with good stock selection.

this is another

The time for FTSE 100 stocks that have an olde fashioned model, carry big debt , carry pension deficits and contract to/outsource Government work to answer to the market ; has arrived

Never in the last 25 years plus have I seen FTSE 100 companies lose 50% of their value in a day

Fund managers are getting ready to run for the hills

£ BILLIONS more look set to be lost on FTSE 100 stocks having to face the reality of their indebted situation and poor trading prospects due to poor management decisions

The low today turned out to be 50.90, with a close at 50.99.

That close is the lowest since July 7 2016, two weeks after the Referendum, when the close was 49.70 - the share price was just bouncing then from the 47.10 low the previous day.

About the only positive, is that some of the technical indicators are oversold, but no sign of anything turning yet.
