16/11/2020 14:46 | Off topic, apologies. I have some investments with Hargreaves Lansdown (HL). I have decided to move my wife's pension pot (55k) and my pension pot (£200k) to the HL SIPP. I've already started the process. They give a small cash back offer too. However, in classic style I've just found out about the Interactive Investor SIPP which has very low charges. I'm a little annoyed with myself as the process is started now. Basically I'm looking for some consolation that I've made the right decision. III would be cheaper annually but are there other's on here with direct experiences of both platforms and their choice, customer support etc. Any opinions on what is best on balance? | pinemartin9

16/11/2020 14:22 | Another valid US Election question... During the election, Republicans in the House were able to flip at least 11 seats while the GOP is poised to maintain control of the Senate. Some conservatives have questioned how such a voting pattern is possible for Biden to win the presidential election, let alone receive more votes than any other presidential candidate in American history, including President Barack Obama’s victory in 2008. | geckotheglorious
16/11/2020 14:17 | Moderna version looks superior to pfizers in efficacy and perhaps crucially, stability. Will help with the roll out particularly in hotter and more remote areas. Looks like the mRNA may be the way forward with other vaccines too, for those interested in the science. Trumps lawsuits are getting thrown out left right and centre too. Seems that tweets can't be submitted as evidence and neither can clips of speeches taken out of context either. I think the next effort will be "I saw it on a website/youtube so it must be true". | dr biotech
16/11/2020 14:11 | keep your eye on AZN they are working on a much much better&cheaper Vaccine that will be easy to store and distribute hope it bloody works eh!! | pal44
16/11/2020 14:07 | News on the Oxford vaccine would be great too 😀 | smurfy2001
16/11/2020 14:02 | The share price move in the news of vaccine and crazy claims of 70 and 80p a share.... no harm of dreaming but calm down people. So Trump was right to claim a vaccine by the end of this year. He was, it is right do not close down restrictions. If for some reason the Democrats were unable to steal the election that is because of Russia involvement. Biden win, no Russia involvement and the American voting system more secure... in the world. Thousands of videos from ordinary people show fraud from Democrats, no from... RussiansIn my opinion, Trump won not only the election but the popular vote this well... think, 73.5 million votes. He claims the top number of votes in history of the American election. | k38
16/11/2020 14:01 | Bloomberg @business A preliminary analysis of data from more than 30,000 volunteers showed Moderna’s vaccine prevented virtually all symptomatic cases of Covid-19 | crazi

16/11/2020 13:50 | "Pollsters Are Even Curious How Biden Under performed Hillary In Every City Except Four" Trump won the largest non white vote share for a republican candidate in 60 years!!!! Biden under performed Clinton in every metropolitan city except Detroit,Milwaukee, Atlanta and Philadelphia the vote exceeded the number of registered voters!!!!! Nope, nothing to see here. no ballot fraud at all!!!!!! | geckotheglorious
16/11/2020 13:46 | diku: "If it gets to 80p every man and his donkey will be out of Lloy..." Maybe diku....was just going off mitchy's other LLOY thread title rather than in depth research lol. | cheshire pete
16/11/2020 13:34 | Grahamite: "cheshire pete16 Nov '20 - 10:35 - 320469 of 320483 Hard brexit deal maybe 40p. Soft brexit deal maybe 50p. I'm most disappointed to see you, of all people, falling for this long-discredited fraud. There is no such thing as hard Brexit/soft Brexit - it is Brexit or remaining." Grahamite2....if you were to cut my leg off it would read Brexit. I'm 100% with Farage and anything less would imv be a bad outcome. However, the context was in response to milliecusto....just speculating on the share price for other shades of outcome, no way supporting them happening. Maybe use of hard/soft poor, and agree fraud. Press saying Gove and Sunak pushing for an earlier deal. Frost and Boris have to be resolute. | cheshire pete

16/11/2020 12:55 | G2 - I'm most disappointed in your last post! You really believe that all outcomes from Brexit will be the same. An amazing lack of analysis. | alphorn
16/11/2020 12:53 | Another Covid vaccine breakthrough as Moderna reveals its jab is 94.5% effective - making it BETTER than Pfizer's | smurfy2001

16/11/2020 12:50 | I would like to hear positive news about the oxford virus later this week before the announcement of a brexit deal next week and the lifting of dividends the following week. Drop feed the good news would be best | kkclimber56
16/11/2020 12:46 | Ladeside - I am optimistic that the vaccines will be rolled out to slow a third wave. The Moderna vaccine is being produced by Lonza, a Swiss multinational; initially in CH and USA. I agree that it takes time before these vaccines are available to the 'general population', but not that much time. In Switzerland the government have talked about H1 2021. (Worth noting btw the amount of time needed for the vaccinated individual to build antibodies). Excellent news though. Hope all well with you. | alphorn
