14/11/2020 18:07 | Anyway, of to watch The Desert Rats starring James Mason and Richard Burton. I like Mason, one of my favourite actors. | minerve 2
14/11/2020 18:04 | Minerva Read... "Performance at the port remains under pressure due to the Covid pandemic, high levels of import traffic, the large number of empty containers and a large amount of unusually long-stay containers held at the port."All the rest are b.s. | k38
14/11/2020 18:03 | So many do still do not know how Brussels worked. We were full members and an important part of the power structure. It was never 'them' it was 'us', | careful
14/11/2020 18:01 | Are morph and min the same person? | jl5006
14/11/2020 18:00 | More PC madness: Police asking for help IDing someone the other day. "The man is described as being between 20-30 years old, 6ft 2 inches tall, medium / stocky build, with short afro hair, a moustache and a goatee beard." Guess what vital bit of identification they missed. I don't blame them, I blame their Chief Constables, or Supers, or whatever. | poikka
14/11/2020 18:00 | "no deal this year" How exactly does that work? Do you know what you are talking about? Lol | alphorn
14/11/2020 17:56 | We can have a deal without surrendering our govern power to Brussels but that's a anathema because.. to them we are still a colony till end of this year. so, no deal this year and new negotiations next year. | k38
14/11/2020 17:53 | G - I know of two 40 year-olds who are still suffering from long-covid 8 months after the event; so maybe not such a "big nothing". When I say that they're still suffering, I mean things like extreme tiredness; abnormal changes like waking up to a puffed-up face; lung damage, and breathlessness... And they're not swinging the lead, one of them is running her own business. | poikka
14/11/2020 17:50 | careful : "I want Brexit to happen and for us to keep all of the benefits of membership."You can't have your cake and eat it unless you surrender power to Brussels. Is that what you want? You're either with us, or against us. | k38
14/11/2020 17:46 | mikemichael - India already has the second highest number of Covid cases worldwide, but a relatively low death rate. Perhaps the relatively low death rate is to do with the relatively low average age? We all know COVID is a big nothing for younger people. In that case the Indians are 100% right to carry on without a care. | grahamite2
14/11/2020 17:23 | Oh dear, i'm saying nowt!!!!! | mikemichael2
14/11/2020 17:14 | I want Brexit to happen and for us to keep all of the benefits of membership. The only reason I voted remain is because were only partially in before. We kept our own currency and central bank and other opt outs. I have changed my mind right now, we could possibly do OK away from the big 3 trading blocks of China, America and the EU. Still a risk, but things have changed, globalisation is a bit out of fashion. Hope we can still dominate World finance and that we are still allowed to dominate the EU. financial systems. We have to go for Brexit now, but no deal would still be too risky. Confident that Boris Johnson will get this right, we have enough problems without adding more. | careful
14/11/2020 16:49 | Think again careless - ur future or no future. Is blackmail one of ur pet likes ? Or are rose tinted specs - how u see the real world? | jl5006
14/11/2020 16:42 | Does the above cause u careless - to rethink - i need training - FGS | jl5006
14/11/2020 16:41 | Energy threats = not in good faith.Actually a hostile act.Boycott nasty French stuff | xxxxxy
14/11/2020 16:37 | Who do you think u are Careless - all your comments are about being tied into EU. Ambrose makes a point u appear to support. | jl5006
14/11/2020 16:32 | JL I was quoting todays article. ..never play the man play the ball. Aways address the argument and never get personal. You have potential, only you just need a little training. | careful
14/11/2020 16:28 | Careless WA prevents any deal for we have to follow their rules. Why on earth are we following green power for obvious black outs. FFS BJ - ur brain has indeed gone | jl5006
14/11/2020 16:21 | Ambrose Evans Pritchard in todays Telegraph. French know that at peak times in the winter we rely on French electric energy. UK are priority customers. Brexit negotiations must be tough, if French cannot have priority to UK fishing grounds why should the French give us energy priority? they argue. Who would be a Brexit negotiator? No deal could mean chaos and blackouts.....perfec We cannot submit to that, but a deal could be done. We have not got a stronger hand than the opposition. | careful |
