Has nursey been yet stonedyou?

I advise a bit of pre-emptive maintenance and get her to look at your asterisk key. Perhaps buy a new keyboard and keep it in the cupboard next to your Union Jack slippers.

I see multi-millionaire Farage now spends all his time worrying about whether 50 immigrants are coming into this country. Has he not got better things to do? What a sad and devious man Farage is.

Poikka

I'm defending the law. I'm defending the principles of integrity and sincerity.

If you believe I'm on the wrong side of this argument then you are a moron.

Do I care if you are offended by that? Not one little bit.

Boris had plenty of opportunity not to sign, but he did didn't he, knowing full-well that he would go back on his word.

He is a moron and a scumbag and the people who support him are also morons and scumbags.

marcel stchedroff13 Sep 2020 10:12AMOur domestic law should override & therefore trumps (no pun intended) others' law. That's what it means to be a sovereign nation, I should have thought.11LikeReplyStan Graves13 Sep 2020 11:51AM@marcel stchedroff Were I in agreement, I'd have used 'Trumps' and omitted the disclaimer.  You seem in accord with his methods;  no prisoners, no regard for reputational damage, win at any cost. The first duty of Government is to uphold the law. If it tries to bob and weave and duck around that duty when its inconvenient, if government does that, then so will the governed, and then nothing is safe-not home, not liberty, not life itself.LikeReplyJim Thomas13 Sep 2020 12:08PM@Stan Graves @marcel stchedroff Was you Stan. The first duty of a government, before all else is to protect the country  and provide it with security. All else is second or third order. You do need to get a sense of perspective.LikeReplyHelen Manson13 Sep 2020 12:31PMSee the DT article by QC Martin Howe explaining why there is no breach of international law and why the IMB is in the best interests of our country.

M2, without it The EU could build a wall in the Bristol channel which would jeopardize internal markets mate. Theres also a massive wind farm near there which powers about 10M homes & if the wind came from a Westerly direction they could levy tariffs on it because the island of Ireland is in the EU & they could argue that's where the winds coming from. It would push up the cost of the energy really really by a lot.

Minnie - "You morons trying to defend it is embarrassing. It just tells us decent folk that your are indeed morons."

Yet another example of a Remoaner resorting to offensive language when he has no credible answer to the debate.

Robert H Smith13 Sep 2020 11:26AMJust looking at some of the banter on below it seems many put favourable spin on how effective the EU are. Maybe read where big money is going. Clearly it is not to the scloritic EU as stang ant growth is predicted. Being attached to the EU inhibits us and we will be much more adaptive to market needs outside. The EU and Germany have Russia and China embedded very deeply in their supply chains and economies. This will come to tears and it is clear that the German manufacturing machine with low demand, changing transit systems and increasing duties will be shedding jobs for years. No give me some unknown swash and buckle as we are good at that you doom sayers! Anything is better than being caught up in this undemocratic, bureaucratic, bullying, out of touch USSEU.Show some spirit!!

Breaking international law, losing integrity and sincerity is not in the national interest. Neither does it deliver what is good for the UK vs NI which Boris and his charlatans are saying.

FFS, he signed it late last year. If it caused him issues he should have NEVER signed it back then, promoted the deal and run a GE on it!

You morons trying to defend it is embarrassing. It just tells us decent folk that your are indeed morons. What a pity we have to share society with people like you. You are truly backward and degenerate.

There was a time LLOY was around £7. I remember buying some back then. Who ever said investing in the stock market was a long term thing, maybe for wealth destruction.
