£350million..actually it's higher now apparently £378m+
Rather we let the Jocks "Go" myself.

We'll all be happier without the ridiculous shrieks of England ruling Scotland. Nearly everything has been devolved.

You are right the EU. will pay more to us in tariffs always assuming the trade stays at the same level.

But a $20tr EU. economy of 28 countries and 500m people can afford to pay a little more.
As a % it is not important.

The UK economy is about 12% of the EU. the tariffs for the UK would be a much more serious problem.

Tariffs work both ways indeed Maxk/pal44

And the EU has a trade surplus with UK to the tune of £100bn

So in the tariff department we'll receive more tariff money from EU, than we pay them.
Double I recall : £6bn odd vs £13bn from EU

A "treacherous betrayal" enacted by a group of Tory "charlatans" is how various political figures have described the UK government's reported plan to rip-up the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement ahead of the next round of trade talks.

"Only treacherous betrayal was the bint who produced and signed this awful document
Akin to #VersaillesTreaty."

If the EU won't see sense on trade then the UK is free to strike deals with whomsoever it pleases. All those European suppliers who have become dependent on the UK for a large slice of their business will not want to lose that business, and will find ways to continue their trade with the UK. The UK leaving and demonstrating how free trade leads to prosperity could lead to the EU being reformed, as other members of the EU realise that the Brussels mafia/cartel is not working in their best interests.

Can't believe that Brexit deal could fail because of a tiny industry such as fishing.

Ever since our money grabbing British fishermen sold their permits and quota rights, way back, at an extortionate price to foreign fishermen, it has been obvious for all but the most ignorant that those property rights cannot be violated.

Even the banana republic duo of Boris and Dominic cannot get around that one as the UK has billions invested in various countries abroad and would be punished for such an illegal property rights violation.

They will do a deal. The state subsidies are a more serious problem as we know with Trumps dealings with China.

The Halifax house price index rose 5.2 percent from a year earlier in August of 2020, the largest annual increase since late 2016, as a surge in market activity has driven up house prices through the post-lockdown summer period.

Boris is just auditioning for Harry and Meghan's new TV series.

All theatrics about a negotiation that the fools in 2016 said was easy.

Selling to the masses - up the ante. Political marketing for morons.

I've travelled round europe a lot been to Greece and seen kebabs spelt Kebob's in France they say frites instead of chips and the spelling in some places like CzechR is that bad that it's very difficult to decipher, It comes as no suprise that Boris has noted a few grammatical errors in the WA & given it back to the EU with a view to getting it corrected & remarked. Afterall I'm sure Boris has got better things to do than sifting through poorly worded pijin english text probably compiled by Hosea who's only previous experience is translating menus into English for tapas bars in rural Spain. Good job Nothings agreed untill everything's agreed innit!

The gloves are coming off now as we get to the endgame at long last. Tarrifs will hurt the EU far more because of the amount they sell to us.

Bring it on.

Send in the gunboats, Oh hang on we don't have any!!, make some more and kick out the 'pirate' EU fishing boats plundering our waters and ignoring any rules. We will catch our own and sell them to them for a massive (with tariff) profit.
