A way for a company to save money but still pay a dividend is called a scrip dividend. This takes the form of a listed company creating more shares in the firm and giving them for free to existing shareholders. This is called a scrip issue.

BARC results were very poor due to covid charges/costs

Ain't IMO going to get any better this year or next year either IMO

I'm sure Boris doesn't write systems but there are so many decisions and proposals coming out that are stark bonkers, where the issue isn't the detail or the practicality but the basic principle. Examples would be levying CGT on principal private residences, and subjecting the self employed to Making Tax Digital even where their turnover isn't enough to cover accountants' fees.
