12.37pm update: Scotland news: 'Saint Nicola' exposed over coronavirus tacticNicola Sturgeon has been accused of using her daily coronavirus press conferences as "party political broadcasts" for the Scottish National Party (SNP).Scotland's First Minister came under fire from a Conservative MSP, who warned if the country had been independent of the UK during the pandemic it would have resulted in a "disaster" for Scots.Michelle Ballantyne said journalists above the border had failed to properly hold Ms Sturgeon to account. Her scathing review of Ms Sturgeon's performance throughout the biggest public health crisis in a generation comes as Boris Johnson this week paid a visit to Orkney.Ms Ballantyne said the First Minister has been made out to be some kind of "saint" due to how she responded to the epidemic.

Just bought a few more @ 29.9p including costs. Hoping next week makes that a bargain. I'm sitting on a 30.2p average so not too worried for the long term.

Electric cars may be the vehicles of the future, but they are the vehicles of the past, too: the first land speed record, of nearly 40 miles an hour, was set in 1898 in an electric car. - FT“

It should have been set in 1896 , however unfortunately they bought the car from Jacko.

I don't get your comment.

Are you saying those who believe there should be more socialism in the system shouldn't own shares?

Do you think it is hypocritical?

Here is a clue before you answer: 'share'.

If LADESIDE has left the thread it's a sad loss. I liked him even though we disagreed about most things. He was a decent socialist.

Poikka, he's a forgotten figure from the past willing to try anything to get himself back in the news.

Perhaps he should try one of these reality TV programmes.
