'Tensions are building across the poorest southern regions of Campania, Calabria, Sicily and Puglia as people run out of food and money. There have been reports of small shop owners being pressured to give food for free, while police are patrolling supermarkets in some areas to stop thefts. The self-employed or those working on contracts that do not guarantee social benefits have lost salaries, and many small businesses may never reopen. Paride Ezzine, a waiter in Palermo, Sicily, no longer gets his salary. “Obviously, due to the lockdown, the restaurant closed,” he said. “I have a wife and two children and we’re living off our savings. But I don’t know how long they will last. I asked my bank to postpone payment instalments – they said no. This situation is bringing us to our knees.” '

The banks have effectively been nationalised.
Any surplus cash will be used to bail out failing businesses.
This is the end of capitalism as we know it.

Meanwhile, at least 100,000 people in America will die from coronavirus even with the current restrictions in place, according to projections released by the White House during a stark and sombre press briefing on Tuesday.

China was how many?

Dear me. How embarrassing for a supposed superpower.

might be wrong on this but surely as the Divi has been suspended, in theory Banks now have more cash to generate income ? surely then , would that actually increase NAV ?

Not sure why there is any misunderstanding here.

Banks have been told to voluntarily cease ordinary dividends, Or
the regulatory authority will do it for them. They were given no choice.

OK, (A)who is Dr Charles Leiber ? What did one of his 'associates' get caught doing ? (Zaosong Zheng)

(B)What is ROUTE Z8301 , where does it go ?

How could Covid 19 possibly fit into this ?

A & B facts, all out there for you to read, (btw A+B does not necessarily equal C but it certainly looks theoretically viable.)

Sounds credible. However, on the 17th March AHO was explaining in interview that the bank was awash with cash and that liquidity to support businesses in this crisis was not a problem. So either he was very out of touch or ...

aljm, I like puzzles, but I like to have puzzles stated in a way i can work out what the hell they are about, and what the puzzle is and what the question is.

Puzzles stated understandably like

If the risk from covid is extremely small for fit people under 50, then why are they under house arrest, and why do the police track them with drones if they venture outdoors?

Labour MP Peter Kyle just said on SKY that over 75's will not be hospitalised if they have CV19. Two care homes in his constituency have CV19
