The banks have effectively been nationalised.
Any surplus cash will be used to bail out failing businesses.
This is the end of capitalism as we know it.

might be wrong on this but surely as the Divi has been suspended, in theory Banks now have more cash to generate income ? surely then , would that actually increase NAV ?

Not sure why there is any misunderstanding here.

Banks have been told to voluntarily cease ordinary dividends, Or
the regulatory authority will do it for them. They were given no choice.

Sounds credible. However, on the 17th March AHO was explaining in interview that the bank was awash with cash and that liquidity to support businesses in this crisis was not a problem. So either he was very out of touch or ...

aljm, I like puzzles, but I like to have puzzles stated in a way i can work out what the hell they are about, and what the puzzle is and what the question is.

If the risk from covid is extremely small for fit people under 50, then why are they under house arrest, and why do the police track them with drones if they venture outdoors?

Labour MP Peter Kyle just said on SKY that over 75's will not be hospitalised if they have CV19. Two care homes in his constituency have CV19
