Posted at 24/12/2009 11:03 by pugugly Trouble is the Coy is director controlled. While nav per share (refs on last accounts) is 103p I cannot see any way of capitalising on it -and as director controlled they can always pay themselves nice Director's Fees and not pay a dividend or return cash to shareholders. Do not hold but like ALS always interested in potential value stocks. |
Posted at 30/11/2006 10:42 by arthur_lame_stocks Ok so they´re sneaking out the results mid morning. I can´t blame them really. What is it with this bunch? They´ve got a balance sheet stuffed full of cash and property assets but they´re determined to waste it all on a failing office furniture business. It´s hard to know what this share is worth. Their last property sale was at a decent premium to book so there may be more upside in their property portfolio but what is the point if they´re losing 2m a year on office furniture? |
Posted at 04/10/2005 16:29 by hybrasil had another little nibble today and the price rise yet again |
Posted at 29/7/2005 23:30 by hybrasil there was a piece in todays uk analyst on the price rise of the day nearly 11 % |
Posted at 29/7/2005 09:55 by hybrasil The company is now making money has great prospects no debt assets of 1.10 a share paying a dividend ( albeit not out of profits). And you can buy the shares for 75p.Is there something wrong or what? I went and bought more based on this am results. |
Posted at 08/7/2005 07:53 by jeff h Cheers hybrasil. As you know the company has been buying back shares on a regular basis. The last buyback was at 73p giving an indication of the family view of the share price. I seem to reacll they started renting a property to Sky, so another income stream is starting to flow. One for sitting back and see how thing's develop I feel. |
Posted at 08/7/2005 07:16 by jeff h Been following this co. for ages and must have just beat you thismorning hybrasil....66.38p I paid for a couple of purchases..... sorry but you already got a pile! It's always reminded me of Safeland....struggli large family holding, buy backs, and high NAV compared to market cap. If the main office business could improve then the share price could fly....hopefully yesterday's acquisition will be a big help in that process....we shall see. |
Posted at 08/7/2005 07:08 by hybrasil bought a few more this am at 67p. No more left at that price! |
Posted at 15/3/2005 17:10 by hybrasil nothing for ages and then you get a share volume as high as this.It will be interesting to see if the company has joined in these purchases. It also goes to show that putting up the share price can increase volume in certain stocks. |
Posted at 14/3/2005 13:08 by hugepants How annoying! I received the annual report on Friday just after the share price started shooting up. |
