NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF SHORT SELLING

13 March 2020

The Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") notifies that it temporarily prohibits short selling in the following instruments and transactions under Articles 23 (1) and 26 (4) of Regulation (EU) No 236/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2012

It is naked shorting I would ban.......

and institutions have a duty of care over the stocks they hold on our behalf...so it is unacceptable that they lend them....WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION.. to short sellers..

never discussed,least of all by the useless FCA.

Sounds similar to my mum in a way. She can still hold her own if someone upsets her but she is happy enough, and the staff seem to get along with her.

I looked after her for two years before it got too difficult for me to manage her.
It was making me ill worrying about her all the time and my wife never got along with her anyway so I was glad when she moved into care.

Trump right to ban travel. Obvious thing to do, try and protect his country and people from the virus. Can't see why anyone has a problem with it, apart from the soft headed liberal types maybe...free and easy, share and share alike lol.

Before my mum died whilst suffering from dementia, we had her placed in an assited living place. She effectively had her own flat and the support was ramped up over time to accomodate her condition. There was an elderly couple living in there out if choice, with daily jaunts out in their Bently. Only issue I had was the managements Brittas empire approach to running things. She would often get stressed and aggressive over medication issues which caused great stress, to the point where they got social services in. Interesting meeting where they sided with me saying that the stress levels were more damaging than her missing the odd tablet here or there. There arguement is that they have a duty of care, but they dont seem to have commonsense on these issues. But apart from that she was well looked after.

Videos have shown people returning from Italy and other European countries just walking straight through British airports with zero checks in place.

Chatter form earlier today claiming that Dr. Fauci personally signed off on President Trump's travel ban has been confirmed.

FAUCI SAYS EUROPE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS RIGHT PUBLIC HEALTH CALL

The celebrated epidemiologist said during a recent TV appearance that, if Trump hadn't restricted travel from China, there would have been "many more travel-related cases".

"Ban short selling" and you'll never have the opportunity to enter a market at what you consider to be a reasonably entry level, it will kill market liquidity!

Equity release is a good thing for those that need it. Of course there will be compounding interest, that is natural, but if it fits in with your plans who cares?
