The entire civil service & in particular home & foreign office have been marching to the beat of the EU drum. It has been a very convenient relationship for them another layer of bureaucracy for them to be subservient towards like a warm fluffy security blanket.

When comes to Syria is not the business of the Americans or the Russians neither to Turkey. Erdogan excuse himself and invaded the richest part of Syrian Kurdish land. Turkey is the aggressor against Syrian people. Turkey creates mass immigration with the help of ISIS killing Kurdish freedom fighters, no long ago friends of America.

Fact. part of Turkey land belong to Kurdish people. Turkey today occupies Kurdish Syrian land and with excuse helping the innocent Syrian people, yet Erdogan is a dictator with minimum human rights today in Turkey. NOW...Turkey is afraid of may have to give back the land they have stolen over the years to their real owners. The part of land in Syria, now occupied by Turkey belongs to Kurdish too. The over 50 million of Kurdish are the only people on earth they are denied to have their own country. Thesame story as the Israelis, the difference is Israel has become a country the others not yet.

It will be interesting to see whether the virus crisis leads to any rethinking on those committed to globalisation.

Me too k38. We just do not panic on something we believe we are missing out on.

Stage 1 in Italy is our watching brief. See how containment effects the wider economy.

It’s not often that we can see a position occur a few weeks in advance.
