Cuts in interest rates will do very little to make housing more affordable! High time the Lemons in the BoE were ousted to to give the Gammons more of a return on our savings and investments.

It's TRUE M2 despite your bitter protestations Boris was returned with a huge majority, plenty of time to overhaul all the bitter lemon lefty civil servants at the foreign & home office. Up the gammons down the treacherous lemons!

M2 your opinion on Boris is tainted because your a bitter lemon.
What is important is the opinion of his peers & the electorate who recognise that Boris has knuckled down performs well & is much nicer to people at every level than other politicians of his seniority. The EU can offer noone to match his popularity. With the exception of a few lemons & silly Jocks Boris has got the support or a nation. He is genuinely considerate.

Boris’s marital track record is of his own making and had he not made mistakes in the past, and have held greater personal values, these difficult decisions would not have arisen.

Personally, I believe someone who is cold, lacks loyalty and the right values soon finds himself lacking and wanting when in a position of authority. What goes around comes around.

Plenty of people on this thread seem to know a hell of a lot about leadership when they have never held a position as such in their lives.

Fools.

Boris's marital track record only underlines the traits and credentials required to be a successful Prime Minister because you need an element of coldness & toughness to make decisions without becoming upset. That's why the country has turned it's back on the hysterical outraged remainers and overwhelmingly supported good old fashioned tory gammon policies. A welcome change from the lemon sucking snowflake spineless policies of the centre left.
Up the Gammons down the lemons.

Rate cut coming UK, not good for bank margins.
But this is a big worry.

Just got back home. Not seen on TV yet that FED have dropped rates. Has it happened or is it what some think will happen?

Looking at LIBOR a UK rate cut has to be on the way too. Bearish for Lloyds.

"My IQ is 164"

Ha ha.

Now is your 'applied' IQ just as high because "75p by Christmas" just doesn't quite reconcile.

LOL

Well, I've sold some of my positions today. All three of them were at a loss. Haven't touched my positions showing gains. I think there is more to come for my UK domestics - but not yet. We have the virus to contend with. If world growth stalls we will no doubt have a glut of energy for sale and some world facing stocks hopefully going cheap. My Rotork investment has shown some good signs today - at the results. I have a few others on my watchlist and don't want to miss the opportunity of these through holding mediocre shares.
