I never flew Thomas Cook. I should have done. It would have saved me a ton of money and aggravation. I always flew Virgin/BA to the US - more fool me.

Yes, Both Monarch & Thomas Cook were good airlines, unfortunately neither publicised their flights well enough, they were in fact very competitive on price but both tended to focus too much on their package model.

"Me thinks Jacko has done very little travel abroad."

Nothing wrong with that of course, but why the facade?

I used to like Monarch for short haul into Europe. Slight premium to the cattle shifters but a better service. One of the reasons they went bust. It is all about the price. Morons know the price of everything but value of nothing.

Jacko wouldn't fly with a "budget airline"

Is that right ?

I can only assume you don't travel abroad on short or medium haul flights then, as it's ONLY budget airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet, Norwegian, Jet2, Vueling, Eurowings, Germanwings etc who fly on those routes from the UK, unless of course you fly BA from London which only an idiot would consider.

As for "old" budget airlines, that's a good one, considering that the aforementioned airlines have the newest and most economic fleet in the air. BA on the other hand have a fleet full of ancient wrecks which they actually struggle to find parts for, and I hate to burst your bubble but the air in which you breathe in the cabin circulates throughout the cabin irrespective of the airline of choice........

"Loyally dedicated to delivering this governments agenda" said Philip Rutnam of himself and his staff. If that was sincere, why did he quit and why were the first false briefings against her, not being kept in the loop by MI5 rejected before it hit the press.

"MI5 has rejected claims that its officials are withholding information from Priti Patel because they do not trust her".
