ClownsRUs alive and well. Not even able to get something simple right.

The government has reversed a controversial decision to withhold information about the geographical spread of the coronavirus, as the UK’s chief medical officer admitted a “communications fumble” on the plan.

A 24hr U turn.

sorry - thought I was on the BT thread. Yes, good divi here.

some concern about car loans, reading fraud, large corporate failures (e.g. carillion cost almost a B across several banks inc lloyds), house prices.

It's worth noting that the tier 1 capital requirement uses the advanced basel model at lloyds. As a result, a drop in house prices would increase the tier 1 capital requirements even with no change in the credit scores of mortgage holders. A wider economic shock would be a double wammy.

It's just another nail in the trade negotiation coffin.

I’m hoping we haven’t got any risk out to Italy. Apparently now worries that we’re going to see high levels of defaults.

M - agree. CV will be 'milked' over the next months to blame any poor domestic numbers. Shut down parliament, go on paternity leave ………;…… and see you later. Simple.

I'm thinking of March 2003 just before the Iraq War and LLOY were yielding over 9% !
They gained 50% in a couple of months !

With the benefit of hindsight I'm pleased now I had difficulty opening a isa dealing account or I would most probably have bought in around the 51p mark had I been up and running. It will be Friday or Monday I think before they let me deal after getting my signed paper work. I think it may pay to sit back a bit and see how it goes.

gf16. Thx. I took a small gain and got out of ITV. Took a small position this morning in Aviva, otherwise sitting on my hands.
Who knows in this market? :((

I hope you are right. The last time the price began with a 4 the chief exec bought a shedful and the price started motoring.

CTR...

Watched that vid. Children should be taught skills for their life and work and not have their young minds twisted into believing everything they are told by teachers is absolute. They are being brainwashed at an early age and it's not right.

The three 'R's and sciences etc. were taught well many years ago but the snowflakes have taken over now I'm afraid.

80% of those 'thousands' won't need a doctor, and half of them won't even know they have had it, scare monger!!!

Why not shut parliament for your whole tenure Boris as you, Cummings and your little front bench Puppet Parade show contempt for democracy and dislike more intelligent humans questioning your decisions.

Alphorn..sold most in February, timing all wrong, should have got out at 150p and into cash.

ITV are 105p as I write, look cheap, but the trend say's no! the results were acceptable but no fireworks, could see sub 100p.

I am holding very few shares at the moment, cash is king until it all settles, this virus is going to have a huge effect on the USA, there are perhaps thousands who already have it, who can't afford the doctor appointments.

It's scary, how will Trump handle it, the man hasn't a clue as he fills the WH with obsiquious yes men sycophants scared stiff of their orange god.
