So Boris, putting himself forward to lead us all into the new world, taking us all into the mixing bowl, can't be trusted, or doesn't have enough courage, to speak live on the evening itself.

Rather telling IMO.

A weakling leader for the millions of weaklings.

Agree psychochopper and k38, just as Labour can't be trusted with the economy, the BBC can't be trusted with the news, especially anything remotely political. Backfires in the end as the people won't wear it.

Sovereignty

Is the full right and power of a governing body over itself, without any

interference from outside sources or bodies. In political theory, sovereignty is a

substantive term designating supreme authority over some polity.

Some pertinent questions re Coronavirus.

“Official” figures are just below 10,000. This Lancet article suggests 76000 infections. The death toll is reported at around 200 but if that is the case why are crematoria running 24/7?

The biggest challenge the Chinese administration has is their claims
of full disclosure are being met with doubt because they have such a poor record of reporting accurate facts about any part of the economy. Little wonder that other countries are taking more forceful measures to isolate the country until the infection rate peaks and begins to decline.

"Yes, crematoria are running 24/7 - yet only 257 deaths at the most recent count.
Something doesnt add up"

Are You Prepared For The Wuhan Virus?

"China Quarantines a whole city, disproportionate to 257 deaths surely!
Something doesnt add up."

Elvis has left the building.
Never seen such optimism and rejoicing.

Let us hope Brexit turns out ok.
I hope so, it would be great if we could pull it off.

I start with the assumption, by any realistic economic measure, that the EU. has been good for the UK.
