Easily solved yes dont sell alcohol at airports or on planes.

I don't agree with that at all. I'm flying in March and look forward to two or three pints at the airport before going.

Like most things people look to penalise everyone because of a few idiots that can't control themselves.

Why would there be a 3 or 4 hour delay???

Turn up at the check in, blatantly intoxicated, no boarding pass, none of your luggage is loaded, and you're told to come back when sober. 3-4hour delay?

Where?

We don't need alcohol free flights either.. FFS.

We just need people to have personal discipline and bloody behave. It isn't difficult.

Exactly. A failure by the UAE ground staff who also should be disciplined.

Why is it? Most Metropolitan pubs & clubs employ security staff.

Utrick

"If they must serve alcohol they should provide inflight security instead of relying on the good will of their passengers."

Surely the onus is on the passengers to have manners and behave????

A consultant anaesthetist travelling on the flight who was bitten on the elbow and headbutted as he helped restrain Burton claimed it was worse than working in A&E.

.........

I though that was quite a funny quote.

hmmm fascinating...

Sony shocks at CES with electric car concept

"The buzz from CES is that Sony's EV surprise may be a form of outreach to automakers looking to perfect self-driving technology that the Japanese company could be a smart partner and still knows a thing or two about industrial design"

I doubt if the British would deal with the man...too afraid of being held up by some bent judge for a use of more than minimum force. let's hope the current uk youngsters prove me wrong.

#288829 a classic case of do-gooders doing bad.

Or to put it another way, the FCA making a total mess of things in its normal inimitable style. When is this ridiculous outfit going to be wound up? The Advertising Standards Authority is another one that should go.

I now see certain analysts are predicting AHO could go this year but I reckon if his long term plans for Lloyds are on schedule, come the year end results, he could be hanging around. There are plenty of challenges ahead, future proofing this old establishment to see off the challengers, that would be extremely rewarding for any CEO.
