08/12/2019 19:07 | Bob, loving your interpretation of Boris's Schofield/ Willoughby interview very entertaining! Id like to contrast your interpretation of educational achievements in Scotland and & England though. Education in England is tempered with a healthy dose of realism, this side of the border we realise that its a means to an end and merely the start of the journey to being a self sufficient contributor to the country in terms of income tax. Unlike the Jocks & to a certain extent the academic Irish who view an average degree as an opportunity to adopt a passive aproach & hang up their spurs rather than rolling up their sleves & being productive. England has an economy more inline with the States now.. where with a bit of hard work anyone irrespective of background & educational achievement can carve out a decent living. You dont need a degree to be successful down here mate because educational achievements carry less weight. | utrickytrees

08/12/2019 15:24 | bb - "The EU is built from the ground up on cooperation to achieve equality of outcome for all its peoples. Mutual respect and cooperation are far from your concept of a "Human Farm!"" Well it might have been, bb, but they forgot about human nature, which ain't ever going to change. Would have been better if the founders had stuck to the trading bloc concept and left it at that. "Mutual respect and co-operation" can't be legislated for, and is best just encouraged. | poikka
