His GF seemed nice and down to Earth too, attractive but nice with it. Not a typical WAG tart.

Asthma sufferers should continue with the medication that is best for them. Green campaigners in this instance can go and whistle Dixie. It is getting rather stupid.

"there's no need for nurses to go to university - they should train on the job as they used to."

They don't have to. My niece is a training nurse - works in a hospital on the job and goes to college.

We don't actually need 20,000 more policemen. What we do need is to get rid of the political commissars currently running the police and replace them with proper coppers who see their job as collaring villains.

Similarly, there's no need for nurses to go to university - they should train on the job as they used to.

Yes LADESIDE, exactly. That is mine and every, fairly well educated and considerate persons problem.

It would be good news if we knew Boris would campaign on truths and election rules were adhered to. History as shown us that this has not been the case. Boris will steal Labour policy - like he did with the 20,000 policemen/women - which is easy to understand by the ignorant electorate. Try and explain JIT manufacturing, supply chains, € clearing and other issues is a waste of time.

Simple issues win over simple people, especially the old folk.

Guss, Yes, it's a difficult one. You could vote for a party but then 2 months down the line find your MP has defected to the opposition which of course has become all too common recently.

You might also be Pro Brexit but detest the inequality in the country, so who would you vote for ??

You might be pro EU but hate Corbyn and what he stands for and think that the Lib Dems are a bunch of lying and conniving rats who simply can't be trusted, so who do you vote for ??

You might be pro Brexit but don't think the Brexit party has the knowledge, the expertise or the infrastructure in place to actually deliver on their promises and of course this could split the Brexit vote allowing one of the pro EU parties in through the backdoor ??

There really is far more questions than answers here and it's anybody's guess what will actually happen.............

Boris Johnson's Brexit deal will leave the UK £70bn worse off than if it had remained in the EU, a study by the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) has found.

The last election, 33% didn’t bother/didn’t understand/couldn217;t make their minds up.
I think this percentage will increase quite considerably, if you add the “sod you lot” and the emotionally drained groups of voters.

Good numbers from Credit Suisse today which more than doubled Q3 net profit, as it boosted revenues in its flagship wealth management business, etc.

That's what I said Alp ;-)

"It matters not what any one of us thinks of "the deal" or that there is at least 5 years negotiation coming to the real deal - we need to move the thing forward."

But we should get rid of at least a few of the swamp things quite soon.

Max - that is the point - the swamp can not be drained - in any circumstance it is replaced by other nasties. Almost nobody is 'blanc comme neige' - except perhaps me. ;)

Trump is at least trying, and Boris will do his best too. Unfortunately the swamp is very deep and full of very noxious things.
