Minerve - "It is so refreshing when you reflect her attitudes to the likes of the Little Englanders."

That's really nice to hear, m8, how old is your daughter?

@M4Rtinu

I think this whole thing is an utter farce. Why shouldnt Lloyds be able to terminate "Fund management" contracts..

This sets a very bad precedent imo, especially where fund managers are underperforming , for owners to feel pressured to not move their assets.

Boris supporter on TV saying, 'if Boris wins the party must pull together'.

You have to laugh, about 100 extreme Tory MP's have pulled of an amazing coup.
They have crushed the vast majority of moderate MP's, humiliated them, and put in a lazy, dishonest, bumbling stand up comedian.

... now they want these losers to unite behind the new clown/leader.

Actually, I was drinking during the day. ;)

Barbecue in the lovely weather, my daughter back from Italy and very fluent in the language. It is so refreshing when you reflect her attitudes to the likes of the Little Englanders.

LOL - "coming out of management bonuses"

There will be a a herd of Pigs flying over LLOY's headquarters before that happens.

JoJo, Hoho, nono.

Right, someone's got to do some work today.

Minnie's probably having a rest after yesterday's efforts. Hope he didn't drink too much before bed...

Talking of leg pulls...

Jo Swinson told the Lib Dems they can win the next election – and they really seemed to believe it

I know, Poikka.

But today's going to be colossal fun from start to finish.

On The Daily Telegraph the remoaners are going berserk with impotent rage.

I hope the £140m being paid to SL is coming out of management bonuses. I also hope they don't consider that amount to be small change. And I further hope that at the very least the Finance Director/ Company Accountant is kicking up a fuss.

All very faint hopes.

BBC Online:

"What are Johnson and Hunts' priorities?"

"Housing, the environment and LGBT rights – where does the next PM stand?"

Shows what the beeb thinks are the important issues. I'm just surprised that they didn't stick LGBT at the front of those 3 priorities.

It's even more surreal than expected. A proposal to issue guidance on how much sleep people should get?

Don't be like that, Poikka, course I didn't doubt your integrity!

But one must get as much fun out of the old bag in her last moments as possible.

On ADVFN they write on the boards
Xxxxy is the root of all evil

"THE EURO IS THE GESTAPO.

Soon to be written on Dublin walls"

PS they can not write on Englands walls as the Tories privatised them .
