07/9/2022 16:14 | Very unloved. Sector PE of around 13-14. This is on 8. See IPX was hit hard today but that is on about 14x. | elsa7878
07/9/2022 07:25 | 8 percent dividend with plenty of cover, no debt and very profitable so no reason this should be cut. | r2oo
06/9/2022 16:21 | The price looked too good to resist this afternoon, so have joined you here. Looking tremendous value at these levels. | strollingmolby
02/9/2022 16:13 | And it did look v expensive vs its peers. | trident5
02/9/2022 15:30 | Maybe, but the asset managers are a geared play on the markets. | spectoacc

02/9/2022 15:21 | A pretty good entry price I'd say. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
02/9/2022 13:35 | Yep I'm in today too, procrastinated about this for far too long . | r2oo
02/9/2022 07:49 | Also added this mormomg, tho it's an average-down, & was a toss up between LIO or POLR. Worse to come on the markets IMO, but happy to add on weak days to things I think will eventually recover. Particularly those that pay you to wait. | spectoacc
02/9/2022 07:33 | Been watching a long time, I couldn't resist this morning. GLA | andyj
01/9/2022 21:25 | Still dropping though wow 9 percent down today on no news! | r2oo
01/9/2022 16:50 | Chart does look dire - fundamentals very sound. Waiting game. | pinemartin9
01/9/2022 14:33 | Heading back to its 2018 price of about 6 quid, charts look dire. | porsche1945
01/9/2022 13:01 | Yes, very good value. Count me in. Nice dividend to ease things whilst the recovery takes time. | pinemartin9
01/9/2022 10:43 | This looks very good value at these levels. | r2oo
29/7/2022 08:09 | Bit more than I can read in there but thanks @TMFMayn - nice to see it finally back over £10 again, with potentially a long way to go on that chart. Back to the congestion zone around £13 would be nice - £25 probably too much to hope for :) | spectoacc
28/7/2022 09:47 | [SharePad] Screening For My Next Long-Term Winner: LIONTRUST ASSET MANAGEMENT #LIO
"The opportunity to collect an 8% income from this cash-rich business deserves your attention" | tmfmayn
19/7/2022 17:16 | Believe this will charge back up past my breakeven price and up to 2500 long term. Clients need money managed | growthpotential
30/6/2022 07:15 | 50p XD today. | spectoacc
23/6/2022 07:14 | Those were the results that justify the over-£20 share price IMO. Market always looks forward tho, & was that the high water mark... Happy to hold but bought too soon. LIO isn't going to go away, even if times are about to get tougher. Edit - tempted to add, but if there's no headway after those results, it's likely drifting down again soon. | spectoacc
22/6/2022 07:20 | Their stated dividend policy, is that they grow dividend progressively in line with adjusted EPS (excluding performance fees) and cashflow, while taking macro environment, balance sheet and future plans (assuming potential acquisitions) into account. Obviously, if the market pulls back severely, then their profits and cashflow falls and therefore the dividend could be pared back inline. In the short term, there is no guarantee that the dividend will be sustained, but even if it falls back somewhat for next FY year, it should continue to grow over the years ahead. I am no expert (just an amateur investor), so DYOR. But I am comfortable with the medium to long term picture at these prices. | ozzietom
22/6/2022 06:58 | thanks OzzieTom- and you'd concur that the yield looks sustainable? | se81
22/6/2022 06:53 | Yes, I think a slight beat on revenue expectations and at this price, the dividend yield is 7.75%, which is very attractive. There has been 0.5 billion of outflows since year end and with the market drawdown their FUA have fallen back to 34.2. The performance related component of revenue was 12.6 million, which will probably not be repeated next year, but the 5.2 billion extra FUM inherited through the Majedie takeover, should compensate. Overall, I think mid to long term as the market recovers and their reputation as a leading manager for ESG funds, should mean that the investment flows should come back. It's a great capital light business with good cash flow and strong balance sheet and with a yield above 7%, I am happy to hold for the long term. | ozzietom |
