I hear the reason that shareholders have not received the offer circular is because the person at the auditors dealing with LNG is on paternity leave.

The Botch would be proud with how even more farcical things became at LNG after he left and Creedy was brought in.

you are kidding ????!!!! you know what odds they were ...... worst uneducated comment i have read on this forum thus far!!!!

you know there is an offer on the table and that has been confirmed by lng themselves - apparently many shareholders have seen it - others have not - why is that? who can enlighten us to what it is ?

burgerbarwomen,

I'm be more concerned with the fact that the front page info on betshopitalia.com hasn't been updated in nearly a week:

Of course, there was no Serie A games last weekend, but still, there has been plenty of other things to bet on and betshop italia should be doing all it can to keep customers happy in this troubling time.

hey Cliff, can you tell us who paid for those lovely afternoon outings at Twickenham? was it your treat?

in my view you should ask for your money back at the very least.... talk about rubbing salt into the wounds!

if creedy had.......

issued profit warning, stated new funds needed and not suspended shares then...

by now placement at 1.5p would be done and dusted... company and the Fools would have one last chance or could have sold shares into PI buying frenzy at 1.5p.

that's how other AIM companies do it.... LNG had banking facilities too...

Hmmmmm..........

jmaccer,

Which planet are you on?

The closer the company comes to running out of cash to operate, the less options they have, and a an 'any deal with do, shareholders to get next to nowt' fire-sale will ensue.

If they are currently close to running out of cash to operate and there is still uncertaining regarding future funding, then there is no way they can take any substantial bets at present (seeing as it's been Betshops policy not to hedge exposure)... and i'm sure, going into the new football season, betshop franchisee owners are not best chuffed at their livelihoods being screwed with...

... amazing how fast it all fell apart at the seems so fast.

they have stated they have operating capital to end of sept - they need a couple weeks to arrange an egm so i would expect a circular to go out by end of next week to give them option to get things done by month end, so let's see...

they only stated that they hope to get a further release out in month

jmaccer,

"directors also have shares"

- I hope you're joking. I owned more shares than Creedy!!

After all that has happened (or lack of what has happened)... you have to be an utter fool to still have faith in the management of this old boys club outfit...

... they can't even get the 'shareholder circular' out to shareholders in the timescales they set themselves. And they haven't even bothered releasing the H1 results either. Makes me want to vomit.

120k per year is very mediocre in online gaming, you can get that as a senior manager and far less qualified people are getting that and more having jumped on the gaming bandwagon a few years ago i can assure you of that - the directors also have shares and profit related bonuses, if they are trying to fill their own pockets then they have to fill the pockets of the other shareholders

jmaccer,

I really don't know how you can justify saying this:

"betshop is still trading and making money no doubt - i would expect the directors are finalizing agreements and trying to ensure they get the best offer."

After all that has happened, how the hell can you have any faith what-so-ever in the fact that management are looking out for shareholders best interests by trying to get the best deal!?

Creedy only tried to get anything done when shareholders pressured him to get things done at the cozy meetings (i.e. investigate EBT, restructure share issue to pay dividend, etc)... but he ultimately had the last laugh because shareholders paid for the EBT investigation, court and lawyer fees for the share restructuring AND STILL a dividend never got paid or the EBT cancelled.

Seriously, how can you still think management are looking out for your interests!? Maybe dragging this out as long as possible so they get another wage packet for the month maybe, but certainly not your interests. Are you familiar with 'Stockholm syndrome'!?

Remember the same week the shares were suspended (a few days before), Creedy attended davidosh's Mello meeting to promote LNG as an investment to some poor suckers!! Seriously, and you think management are on your side?

Yes. The mocking posts had nothing to do with Cliff's appalling, arrogant nastiness and the way he alienated everybody by his disgusting contemptuous pompous smug & supercilious writing style.
