31/7/2010 19:41 | Do the math - it's 16p a share | sir brainy
31/7/2010 19:17 | Cliff 'Write-Up' D'Arcy will come out of this smelling of roses and 4p average buy in (if not 3p) | sir brainy
30/7/2010 21:35 | no he will not! | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 21:14 | Cliff 'Write-Up' D'Arcy will come out of this smelling of roses, his average buy in price was under 4p and he'll get more than that, surely | sir brainy
30/7/2010 20:55 | My good friend Cliff 'Write-Up' D'Arcy may disagree? | sir brainy
30/7/2010 20:05 | Looking forward to reading the expert views of LDMachin concerning the RNS today. | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 19:20 | Is all that money going to evaporate? | sir brainy
30/7/2010 19:07 | There are 94m shares in issue. Let's assume EUR15m (£12.5m) and the rest is liquidated freeing up £3m. Say, £15m. That's 16p a share. OK a bit less as deserving staff/ directors are paid off etc but still maybe 10p a share. Leaving Cliff in profit. | sir brainy
30/7/2010 18:57 | WE COULD ALSO ASSUME AN ADVANCED RACE OF GREEDY DIRECTORS LIVING BENEATH THE SURFACE OF MARS. | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 18:53 | We could assume escrow goes with Betshop ie is already accounted for in the EUR15m, but other assets have a value. So - EUR15 + other bits. If all is liquidated, what is it worth per share? | sir brainy
30/7/2010 18:48 | The escrow money is dead money, always has been. What cash per share... they ain't got any cash, that's the point right? Do you mean minus debt per share? Shareholders will in my view be offered 1p. | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 18:44 | What would be the value of EUR15m + escrow + cash per share? Maybe Write-Up D'Arcy hasn't completely lost his shirt just yet. After all, getting 50p in the £ is far better than f-all? | sir brainy
30/7/2010 18:36 | that's been in the public domain for a while... 14m of it in earnouts perhaps? | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 17:50 | davidosh - Correct me if I am wrong RC had stated that bad run statement at the AGM (2009) last year he also stated a clean bill of health from DOJ would come in a couple of weeks. I am finding it hard to understand with Richard history and knowledge of the business how he failed to forcast for the comming months, also why is he still workinhg for LNG? I hope Colin is well he seemed like a nice enough guy and was just trying to good by you guys but in turn it bit him in the ass. | oneillshaun
30/7/2010 17:36 | davidosh - 30 Jul'10 - 17:23 - 1093 of 1093 "certainly the business will not be given away." Hi Davidosh Let me tell you I'm actually starting to get seriously annoyed with some of your opinions. LNG IS A FAILED BUSINESS. IT'S WORTHLESS. THE BUSINESS MODEL HAS BEEN PROVEN NOT TO WORK OVER THREE YEARS. THIS IS PROVEN FACT!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN "certainly the business will not be given away." YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO GET 1P CASH...THAT WILL BE THE BEST OFFER...TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. YOU AND YOUR FOOL.CO.UK CRONIES WILL BE GIVEN NO CHOICE. YOUR MATES WON'T BE ABLE TO DO A DAMM THING PAL. IT'S 1P OR LIQUIDATION. | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 17:23 | RC always appeared optimistic and at one presentation stated that the company could weather a run of nine bad weeks...of course he never said where LNG would be or what plan B was if we had such a run !? It looks as though the bad Q1 continued through Q2 and sadly they have not been able to take advantage of the World Cup in the way other bookies have certainly done. Maybe RC should have protected the company after the good year in 2009 and done a fund raising at say 10p when Tim Smalley and others were chasing stock and building a stake. The huge software investment and freehold purchase has depleted the cash and now it is difficult to get the cash in to see the company through the barren spell where you need those nuts that should have been squirrelled away !! Just my assessment so far but not going to beat myself up over it. I think there is a fair way to go yet as I know Tim Smalley will not give up without a fight and certainly the business will not be given away. Lessons to be learned though for sure and just hope Colin does not feel he has let anyone down as that is certainly not the case. | davidosh
30/7/2010 16:00 | Well if cliff say's that it is okay i guess it must be and i am sure cliff will profit from this, we must be wrong it seems LNg have not of cash to spare hence the new oan of 300k to keep them going for the next 2 months. | oneillshaun
30/7/2010 13:48 | Post no: 128102 Anyway, as you've probably guessed, rumours of LNG's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Really? Are you sure about that? | burgerbarwomen |
