12/9/2010 19:29 | I believe the whole set up should be liquidated, all remaining staff sacked with minimal-under-law payoffs, buildings sold etc etc. Probably worth closer to 2-3p. Why pay useless employees for a day's more non-work? | hiq
12/9/2010 16:46 | Thrwing more money after bad if they reject the deal. I can understand CCs grievance but its clutching at straws looking for a fundaising. | ls lowry
12/9/2010 16:24 | from what i see there is only one certainty in this case - if you vote NO you get NOTHING. not one penny. who in their right mind throws away money, this is simply a huge case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. UNLESS there is a rival bid. so i would want to see any potential bid with a full and proper business plan with committed and epxerienced partners in writing before the EGM. i have seen nothing to beleive that the major shareholders have the ability to either raise the required funds or run the business so why would i gamble, which is all this is. so if the major shareholders want the others to beleive in them they need to be fully transparent and practice what they are preaching. Most importantly, again, i would want to know if have they provided the interim funding to keep it going this long? if not why not. good luck. | jmaccer
12/9/2010 14:51 | The rugs certainly been pulled from under our feet,so get yourself up,dust yourself down and lets get on with running this business with full transparency. The major shareholders are not taking this lying down neither should any other shareholder. The major shareholder group have the necessary professional talent to deal with the logistics of financing, hiring and firing, legals and setting out a business plan leading back to profit. The writing is clearly on the wall for those responsible(or should i say irresponsible),given its the eleventh hour, swift and decisive action must be taken. The full facts of the matter will no doubt surface over time. Opposition to this endeavour will come from expected quarters but will be insufficient imo to counter honest, decent and competent shareholder support going forward. | bleepy
12/9/2010 12:21 | exactly.... I strongly suspect we only know 25% of what's been going on all round over the last two years... so many variables in play listen Cliff... on the face of it LNG were an excellent bet two years ago but you've got to let it go..... let it go. use your 40%+ combined vote as a bargaining chip to insist that you get the 900k euro... that's still a nice little wedge to play with, perhaps with more to come later. | burgerbarwomen
12/9/2010 12:07 | of course - so if there are so many cloudy issues surrounding this and nothing s transparent surely it is too great a risk to try and carry on with, anyway time for me to move on, i will watch with interest the outcome | jmaccer |
