If this world cup and England is anything to go by the company must have gone bust.

Surely everyone knew we wouldnt have a chance and bet accordingly.

come on surely you all know any potential deals will take time, due diligence will take longer, i would hope in the next couple of weeks there would be an announcement of sorts, the company is still trading and staff and all being paid so can't be that bad can it. if so then surely management are just doing there jobs in securing the future of the business. i would be interested to understand what any shareholders would be happy with if offered a deal...2p , 4p, 6p....

It's nearly a month now since LNG was suspended and no news? Have the shareholders just meekly accepted their fate? As I understand it, the Fools alone had possibly a couple of million invested. I'm surprised there has been no real discussion on here or anywhere else about what (if anything) could be done to salvage the situation.

For a smaller level comparision check webis holdings Turnover £100m+ market cap £3.8m down 50% in 9 months so show difficulties of sector .Casino and Sportsbook turnover £70m+ showing losses .

Shaun - glad your company is doing well ..but there is correlation between recession and discretionary spend ...that is my point .

if a casino has a t/o of 10m this equates to about 250k gross profit. 125k per month. cost of sales to software providers, payment processing, affiliates etc will take away about 75k of this leaving 50k per month to go on operating costs etc. anyone can try and make figures look better than they acutally are in this industry.

the reason why 888 is down 60% is not because of a declining market but the increase in spend from its rivals such as tilt and stars who are spending more than the existing operators such as 888 in these locations to prevent a continued reliance on the US market.

888 down 60% ..wmh and lad performing badly ..prty not good ....they are all affected by downturn ....smaller ones will be squeezed out ...i have been offered 2 online gaming business for very small money and they are profitable with no debt ....

purple lounge went for £1 in Nov plus deferred consideration if targets met out of future cashflow .£10m turnover for first 2 months trading this year .
