yep, Typo highlighted it motoring this morning - not much of a guy to follow tho is he? Morton? I mean his reputation seems greater than the actual ability. Didn't he buy wadgeloads of MLT which have since tanked and are suspended?

I probably need to take a closer look but don't want to buy just because Morton is buying. Thanks for highlighting them tho.

CR,
Not meaning to be disrespectful but I am surprised you haven't cottoned onto PGS. I would have thought it would be right up your street. Bit of a breakout today based on Morton buying but it still represents good value IMO. Apologies to the rest of the thread.

PS It would be agood idea if ADVFN had the same system as Stockhouse in Canada, where I sometimes post, in that there is the facility to 'Inbox' an individual instead of having to use a public forum.

hi morwood and Arthur.

Yep, I seem to bump into the value hunters often.

Sold up here a while back as I couldn't see newsflow but figured the results must be soon, the AGM is nearly due too isn't it?

It looks to me like somebody had quit a lot of stock to shift and they´ve been offloading it at 22.5p as the trades seem to have been matching roughly at 22.75p/22.5p. perhaps they´ve stopped selling now?

I picked up 25K yesterday, without a battle and below the offer. Interesting to see they had to work a 10K buy today, stock must be very tight at the moment.

Agree with the above and would just reinforce the view that we should have had a trading statement just after year end if the results weren't up to scratch. I rang last week to be told 1-2 weeks. Didn't bother to post since i had previously been told 'by Christmas'. So, should be any time now.

Arthur, How sure are you of your feeling in the water?
Usually any delay in results is enough for me to exit

been consistant buying for some time and intrigued as to why price has not risen and where the stock has been coming from (no rns) one explanation would be that the market makers have been paying above mid (75k today at 22.5)and hence look like buys but why do this and not just raise the share price, would there be any benefit for the market makers to keep the share price in this trading range(over a year). sorry just ramblings of a long time share holder

Decent volume today, it all looks like buys, but perhaps that 75k was a sell, otherwise I would´ve expected the price to move a bit.

Still no results though, what are they playing at?

I think results should be good. The German economy is doing well now

Arthur,

Agreed, I don't think they have anything to hide or they would have slipped any bad news out over Christmas. They must be either doing a deal or planning a way of returning the cash to shareholders.

I hope its good news and soon!

So still no results. I wonder whether this is because there is a deal which they want to announce? At least they didn´t sneak them out over the holiday.

It would be nice to finally see Leeds put out of its misery so that we can all move on to something else, I have quite a few stocks i´m looking at at the moment.

If anybody is interested a few of us have been using Rainmaker´s value thread (VAL) over here to highlight interesting stocks of this type that might warrant a better look.
