It´s been getting popular with the Fools lately, i´ve been banging on about Leeds for ages over there without getting much interest, but perhaps they´ve finally come round to my way of thinking.

Has Leeds been tipped somewhere? There´s a flurry of small buys today.

I´m a bit surprised to see the price drop after what appears to be mostly buying today.

You're right Arthur, the value is there. If they announced that 10p was going to be returned to shareholders the price would immediately jump to about 30p. Unfortunately though it sounds like they are going to invest it.

No not really Swiss Paul, I expect the results to be pretty good (although they may still show a small loss for the year due to the disposal of the leasing business I expect Hemmers to have done really well which is the important thing now).

I wouldn´t like to have a guess on the current trading of Hemmers, although I can´t see any reason for it to be significantly worse than this year.

I just get a bit fed up like any small shareholders that we´re always left waiting for an outer of the value that we´re convinced is in this company.

I think it suits the two Swedes to see the price low so that they can keep buying back shares in the market at a discount to net assets.

The results should be out before Christmas, might even be out this week. I wonder if they´ll sneak them out on the last trading day before Christmas, just to make sure they are completely missed by the market for another year.

Plenty of buying today, we might even see the price move again in anticipation of the results (due before Christmas apparantly).

I think this point has cropped before from memory - probably raised by you, Arthur! And i think you are right in your supposition (framed though it is as a question).

Here´s a serious point for a change.

If the value of the dollar has declined against the Euro over the last year (and over the last 6 months of this financial year) could this give a boost to Hemmers´ margins since I think they buy a lot of cloth from China and their currency is pegged to the dollar?

Too technical for me, so as you suggest I will not be taking your word for it.

John

That´s why i´m surprised the price is falling, the market must be a bit short of stock because the company has been buying back everything that comes onto the market in size, although they haven´t bought any for a while because of the close period there hasn´t been that much trading.

It looks like 60k have been bought today including your 31k but the price has fallen.

Anyway, that´s how little there is going on here at the moment, i´m posting about trades!!!
